So you don't agree that the British public hate people like Grace and want to knock them down? Smugness, confidence etc are all seen as repulsive traits in people...just look at Sezer.

Then there's the underdogs, everyone knows the British love an underdog, despite someones personality (think Shabaz) as soon as someone starts getting bullied everyone wants to protect them, save them, make them more confident etc

It's not like I am pulling that outta my arse, it's a well known and proven trait of the British...we don't like sucessful people, we love an underdog.

I don't know Starlet. It sounds a bit too much of a generalisation to me. I think the public do like sucessful people if they are sucessful because of hard work, rather than having it handed it them on a platter, but then I'm not British, so am probably not the best one to judge.

er I forget what Mel did that was so bad, apart from 'snubbing' Claire and kissing two blokes in the house - what a horrendous crime

anyway Grace does slate people behind their back and be friendly to them later, but I seen all the HMs do that this year. Grace's problem is that she's be very specific/pointed with her criticisms

Richard isn't a saint and he's slated people in a more casual fashion than Grace, but he still slates people

I'm massively confused about why Lea has gone off Richard, she's acting in the same fashion a Grace

even nice guys like Glyn and Pete have slated people, then been pally with them

Aisleyne is starting to show Grace-type characteristics, she was slating Grace & Mikey at the weekend but told Glyn not to say anything. Yet she pretends that she's like Grace

Grace is the number one bitchy HM on BB7, but the others are all guilty of doing the same

maybe that will work in Graces favour this week..opinions change and ithe "public" might start to feel sorry for Grace after seeing her so upset several times in the highlights..
you only have to look at the ups and downs of Jades stay in BB to see how "public" opinions can swing drastically..

Jade's turnaround happened to due to two things

her first proper eviction she was up against Adele, who was master schemer that BB public disliked

and the Sun conducted a totally unrealistic poll who they thought was gonna win BB3, which Jade won and the paper reined in it's negative coverage

I think Grace is going this week and her eviction interview will probably be a bit painful to watch, coz she'll still be crying from the public reception. Of course Davina will try to be a spin on it and conclude she was a "great housemate"

I wish she'd won immunity and Lea is showing signs of imploding and Aisleyne is not the nice girl she's trying to make herself out to be

I always thought Jades turnaround was due in part to public sympathy at the way the other hms treated her in the last few weeks..
the "stripping "game for one and the sense of isolation she was beginning to feel..
I never saw the sun poll though..I was aware of the power of the press that year, they went way over the top with thier coverage of Jade.
Grace has not come across as a likeable character and maybe her time has come..there are a few more I'd like to see out before her,but her eviction this week seems a done deal.

Nah, you only have to look at posts on here/other forums to know there's no chance for her....people have laughed at her being upset by the chanting, rejoiced she didn't win immunity and seem hell bent on having her walk out that door on Friday to be booed and jeered.
