Pete getting fookin fed up og the fookin sweary fookin paranoid one...(ch4)
There He Blows
Monday 12 June
Day 26, 20:49
Like a steaming, grumbling volcano, Pete has been threatening to explode about Lisa for days.
The former best buddies have been drifting further apart since Lisa got all 'bunny boiler' on Pete's butt. And as Pete's grown closer to Lea, Nikki and Aisleyne, Lisa has been increasingly elbowed... and has badgered Pete about it at every opportunity.
Coming to reassure her one last time, Pete came into the bedroom where Lisa was chatting with Grace and Nikki. "You alright Lise?" he asked. "I don't want you to go. Stop telling me that I do, 'cos I don't."
"You do," she replied. "Because..."
"I don't," said Pete, walking out of the bedroom. But then something came over the 24-year-old, and he burst back into the room, waving his arms like Animal from the Muppets. "How many times do I have to tell you?! I like you! YOU ARE MY FRIEND!"
As Pete left for the kitchen, Lisa turned to the other two. "But he did. I said to him 'I bet you wish it was me that was going' and he gave me the smuggest grin ever."
All three girls followed Pete to the kitchen, but he hadn't finished.
"Lisa, you are the most paranoid person I've ever met."
"I'm not," she shouted from the step.
Pete: "You are!"
Lisa: "I'm not!"
"Are! Are! Are!" he replied, jumping up and down. "Just. Chill. Out!"
Nikki couldn't contain her giggles, and launched into a series of Pete impersonations.
"It wasn't supposed be that funny," he said.
Believe us Pete, it was.
