DAVINA: 'MARIO IS LEGENDARY!'

The Big Brother presenter said although she thinks the moody muscleman - who was evicted last night - was "hideous" to girlfriend Lisa in the past week, he was very entertaining to watch.

Just a last major word on Mario.
Lisa will always be the most likeable person in that partnership.

I only saw the eviction show last night but Davina's interview with Mario was truly embarrassing.
Mario hasn't got a clue about how comical the viewers thought he was.
When Davina said Ricky Gervais was a fan, Mario looked totally confused.
After 'The Office' montage regarding Mario's embarrassing utterances was shown, Davina had to ask Mario if he'd actually watched the programme!
Mario was totally perplexed. He's to thick to realise none of the viewers 'respected' him - which is what he truly craved.

Mind you, he's quickly realised since that criticising Lisa was a bad idea & let's face it, he knows his future appearances on TV will be as a patronised clown doing the old 'facilitating', 'risk assessment' & ::lol:: 'Health & Safety'.

Mario's appearance on BBLB yesterday was funny - especially when he said the whole Health & Safety thing was a 'joke' - oh no it wasn't!
George Lamb's face was hilarious.

That's a bit harsh on Mario PI-LTD.

By design or accident, Mario had become a character on our screens which most of us would recognise because we were watching it.... Mario is perhaps the only person in the country who hadn't.

I always think its unfair when Davina (and she does this often) speaks to the evictee as if they'd been watching the show. While they might be familiar with the events within the house they can never know how their characters are perceived by the public... and yet Dearest Davina throws this stuff at them time and again.

I agree - I do think Mario was very funny with his comments and at times he could be a bitch with that worm Luke, but all that stuff is edited together from a whole day, and I do think he has his heart in the right place. But Lisa came out of her shell tonight I must say - it was nice to see her having a laugh, and I think she'll be there till the end.

She should be by rights.... but she's vulnerable at the moment and I think she's going to be facing eviction sooner than we think.

Yes, that's a good point.

While we all have a skewed perspective, and have judged the evictees, they themselves are still in BB mode, influenced by what they have seen and heard, completely ingnorant (understandably) of what they haven't.

It's a case of our tunnel vision versus theirs.

"O wad some Pow'r the giftie gie us
To see oursels as others see us
It wad frae monie a blunder free us
An' foolish notion
What airs in dress an' gait wad lea'e us
An' ev'n Devotion"

And the translation for sassenachs:

"Oh, that God would give us the very smallest of gifts
To be able to see ourselves as others see us
It would save us from many mistakes
and foolish thoughts
We would change the way we look and gesture
and to how and what we apply our time and attention."

The whole stanza is a plea to Hippo to cease from his self-abuse.
