If your workplace is as dire as you make it sound Bunny it explains why you always support that kind of person in the BB house.
You need some of the Rachel backbone spirit in you my lad to get yourself out of that job ASAP!.

My workplace is no better and no worse than any other because talking about people behind their back is part and parcel of everyday life.

People talking about others behind their back's might be part and parcel of everyday life, true, but an individual can choose to get involved, or not.

This is something I've learned, the older...and older...I get.

Sometimes you have to say something like 'the work wasn't done', but you don't have to talk about the people - others will learn soon enough who is reliable, trustworthy, etc, and who is a liability.

The truth almost always will out - and only sometimes is it necessary to go down the character assassination route. Sometimes silence can say a whole lot more.

(Having said that, my poor husband has sore ears, listening to my 5-minute moaning session, when I get in from work )

I never thought the day would come when I'd agree wholeheartedly with one of Bunny rants, but some of the stuff in this thread is unbelievable

Every workplace has people who are not liked and within the structure of those workplaces there is bitching. The huge difference between BB house and workplaces is that we on outside have scope to do other things. Thus our bitching isn't extreme as the HMs, nor as long lasting

The most interesting thing that happens in the house is a task or the arrival of new HMs. Therefore a massive amount of Grounhog Day happens with HM nitpicking/regurgitating/bitching about the same old things. I'm not for one second saying that it's entertaining to watch some HMs slate others, but I certainly find it more believably than most on this thread (bar Bunny)

If I was in the house I'd find it very hard to be myself around Rachel, because I would have "trust" issues. That's not to definitely say I'd be bitching 24/7, but I certainly wouldn't be so extremely non committal about practically everything. Whether that constitutes the definition of "fake" or not I don't know

I find myself constantly intrigued by my workmates telling me who they do or don't like when we're socializing out of office. On face value everybody at my company gets on and we all like each other. The reality is very different however

I'm not gonna slate Bex, Luke et al for apparent bitchiness, when Darnell, Kat etc have done watered down versions of the same.
