MARIO Marconi and Lisa Appleton may have failed to attract enough fans to keep them in reality television show Big Brother.

But on Friday they proved more popular with pupils at Knutsford High School.

Teachers sold all 250 tickets to see the couple play in a basketball match for Children in Need.
