Channel 4 in crisis talks...

Big Brother bosses are currently in talks about how to save this year’s show after details of contestants were leaked.

The show kicks off on May 18, but alleged names of housemates have been leaked to the press leaving bosses wondering whether or not to change the entire line up of contestants on the show.

A source told the Star: “All hell has broken loose. This is a major leak and it could ruin our launch show because we always want Davina McCall to reveal who the new housemates are to the nation.

“We may have to tell some of the contestants who we’ve picked that they’re not going to be on the show now and replace them with new people.

Potential housemates are currently in hiding with a chaperone in secret locations all over Europe so they do not find out about show details through the media.

Those said to be participating are…

Imogen Thomas (Former Miss Wales), Emma Spellar (Former Miss Great Britain), Brook Canning (American rapper), Bonnie (chubby teenager), Grace, (Dancer), Nicky (Former glamour model), Lee (model), Lisa (said to be hyperactive), Sezer (stockbroker), George (photography student), Mikie (male model), Richard (Canadian muscle man), Shahbaz (Glaswegian), Pete (singer).

Hmm…their not exactly a cross section of run of the mill Brit’s, but should they get to enter the Big Brother house they should make for interesting viewing.

Another potential 10 contestants are on stand by and one lucky KitKat eater will get the chance to win one of 100 ‘golden tickets’ and will enter the house at a later date as a nice surprise for the established contestants.

Channel 4 has refused to confirm or deny whether the leaked details are accurate…we will soon find out!

Contrived Spin ,, vamping up interest in the show .. I mean the only people who would know the names are endemol employees,, and i bet they are paid to well to rish their jobs like this ... and I suspect that only a handleful know the whole of the list , individuals might know one or two ....

Oh put them in. They sound even worse than the usual lot, so it might be amusing to see them manage on a budget of £1 per person per day.

Bonnie (chubby teenager), Lisa (said to be hyperactive), and Shahbaz (Glaswegian). Those descriptions remind me how much I hate the tabloid press. At least those three alleged housemates might have something to offer. Six of the others appear to be defined by their physical appearance, model, muscle man etc...Yawn Yawn.

Well, that has to be a total lie, probably released by C4/Endemol themselves.
I imagine they have some 20yr old sitting at a desk quietly releasing rumours across the various boards, stirring the cauldron to spur interest in the show.

Agreed.It sounds like a bore fest of vain idiots parading around preening in front of mirrors.

Well we've seen 'exclusive' stories of the line up before for previous series and none of them were accurate so I'd be surprised if they got it right this time. I'd imagine BB would change contestants anyway if it was.

The makers of Channel 4’s Big Brother held emergency meetings last night after the names of this summer’s contestants were leaked.

The reality show producers were reported to be angry after the names, including a gay body builder, were made public.

A source told the Daily Star, “All hell has broken loose.

"We may have to tell some of the contestants who we've picked that they're not going to be on the show now and replace them with new people."

Other rumoured participants on the list include former Miss Wales Imogen Thomas, a Mediterranean stock broker and a mother and daughter who must keep their relationship secret.
A viewer will also get the chance to join the show halfway through by finding a golden ticket in random KitKat chocolate bars.

A Channel 4 spokeswoman told the paper, "We cannot confirm or deny if the details printed at the weekend about this year's Big Brother are correct."

THE Big Brother house has seen more than its fair share of weirdos, social misfits, show-offs and wannabes over the last six years.

But BB7 bosses are set to put the freak factor into overdrive by throwing gay cross-dresser Shahbaz Choudhary into the mix.

The outrageous Glaswegian, who works as an architect's assistant, has been trying desperately to get into the Big Brother house since the show started.

He has been knocked back from all the other big reality TV shows.

But now he is set to finally get his big chance.

The highly strung diva - nicknamed Trash Mahal on the Glasgow gay scene - loves attention and is no stranger to controversy.

Mum's hope for Cheryl

A MUM reckons her singer daughter is about to make it big - in the Big Brother House.

Wannabe star Cheryl Ledgerwood, 22, has already had two auditions to star in BB7, which kicks off next week.

Now she's dropped out of sight. And mum Lorraine Scott believes her girl has been holed up in a secret location by Big Brother bosses.

Lorraine, 40, from Hurlford, Ayrshire, said last night: "She has been working as a singer in a nightclub in Cala D'or in Majorca since the beginning of April.

"She is normally in regular contact with us but, since Sunday, her mobile phone has been dead. I'm sure that's because she has been picked for the Big Brother house.

"I know she went to the Big Brother auditions in Glasgow at the beginning of the year. She was then called back the following day for another audition.

"Cheryl was so excited to be called back that next day. If she does make it into the house, she will be the life and soul of the party. She takes no nonsense.

"I think she will thrive on the attention in the house. With her it's all me me me."

Cheryl has worked as a backing singer for rap artist Coolio. Two years ago, she won a competition to perform at the Live and Loud Music Festival.

Lorraine said her daughter would cause a real stir as a housemate - and, if she won the reality TV show, she would probably spend the money on a boob job.

If Cheryl does star in the Big Brother house, she is unlikely to be the only Scot.

BB7 bosses are set to let Glaswegian cross-dresser Shahbaz Choudhary loose in the house too.

But producers Endemol are remaining tight lipped about the current location of this year's contestants before the show begins on May 18.

A spokeswoman said: "The final list of housemates will be revealed next week."

Big Brother producers try to keep the identity and location of each year's contestants absolutely secret, warning they will jeopardise their place in the show even by telling their family.

Past Big Brother contestant Federico Martone said: "When I was on it, we were taken to London for a couple of weeks before the show and told not to speak to anyone or our place would be at risk."

I hope Cheryls mum hasnt spoilt her chances of going in the house by talking about it.
