LOL - as a sentence on its own it does seem to state the obvious, but I think in context it was making a subtly different point. Maybe too subtle lol!

I always have high hopes but I am concerned that BB are messing too much with the program making it more and more contrived and less and less spontaneous.

First night is always important. I can usually get a good idea if BB will hold my interest from my first impressions of the housemates.

Have to say BB5 was the worst first night. I remember feeling really disappointed like never before ....and that feeling went right through to the end.
Last year was only slightly better (imo) and not a patch on the first 4 ....thoses were the day
