And seriously, if they did want to fix it, why bother holding a competition in the first place? Agreed the e-bay part is dubious at best, but it opened it up for people who wanted to exploit the competition to make some money, and those who wanted to be on the show and could afford to take the risk of buying a golden ticket. She might be a model, but shes at the tail end of her career, shes in her 40s.
If you have the money to burn on 60 boxes of kitkats and the time to spend opening all the sodding things and you still dont win so your husband spends 4000 quid on one ticket... then you have to be pretty bloody desperate to grab your last chance at 15 minutes in the spotlight, because it surely cannot be for the joy of sharing that house with the other house-grates.
As far as I know, Endemol and E-bay are two very separate companies. If E-bay allowed the tickets sold, that was their business, Endemol could have got into very serious trouble had they been selling the tickets off themselves.
