Apparently, he had always suffered from poor eyesight and eventually lost the sight in his left eye by the time he was in his late teens.

At age 23 Mikey lost the sight in his right eye after a failed operation on his retina.

I had to fast forward through most of Rachel's party - couldn't stand the screaming and Kat's desperation for airtime.

Nicole is a complete cow. Rex is obviously completely paranoid at the moment and it really wouldn't be too difficult for her to set his mind at rest without incurring punishment from BB. But instead, she decides to keep him dangling in order to keep him in his place. Rex deserves better.

Re Mikey going blind. As John says, at the age of 23, he had an operation on his eyes, which went wrong and left him completely blind. He said he was too scared to tell his mother after the operation that he couldn't see at all, because he didn't want to upset her.

I think it is all quite sad really.

I wish they had shown Darnell being nasty after the party. I thought it was a rubbish ending.

Once again Kat and Rachel's coverage shows them in a good light, they danced their sweet little hearts out and didn't rub it in the faces of the other housemates.
Darnell was saved by the editor agian - he turned on Kat because Kat asked him why he had no one to talk to when she and everyone else knows he had Sara to flirt with all night after the ham-actor got shown the door.

Darnell was right when he told Kat she was good and that he was going to bed because he would lose the argument. And he would have, because for all the happy happy house and cookie power stuff from Kat she is no fool and knows when someone is having a dig at her, like Darnell was all that day.

I understand Kolonel Kat spent some time last night ensuring her troops would nom Lisa tomorrow. All that "bake my harr" crap again, apparently.

I must be watching a different show. I don't recognise the Lisa you're talking about. So she joined in with Luke in talkng about the other HMs - so what? Everyone does it, except fakes like Kat.

I think the thing I hate most about Kat, apart from the Baby-Woman act, is the complete hypocrisy she represents. She wibbles on about people being nasty and "baking her harr" when she is the slyest, most camera-hungry blob of need in there.

We aint ever going to agree on Kat or Rachel.

As for last nights HL`s as said above I’m still fuming that Darnel wasn’t aired having his nasty go at Kat and Rachel, forget who it was aimed at, it was purely selfish him not getting what HE wanted and nastily kicking off at someone to make himself feel better and them fell worse.

Darnel is now constantly questioning everything and everyone. Which would be fine if he wasn’t so aggressive and offensive with his accusations and requirement for people to justify them to him.

Why should they?

Oh, I've never doubted that Kat was a very intelligent woman.

I think she's also a kind and caring person, but she knows which side her bread is buttered on, definitely.

Her dress sense alarms me at times. Nothing wrong with being vivacious and quirky - but does she have to wear things (or not wear things) which result in whatever bosom she has being flattened?

See, I can't help looking at the more foundational issues.
