CHEATING Big Brother contestant Dawn Blake has insisted she can hold her head up high despite her shameful exit from the reality show.

The 38-year-old from Aston said she had outwitted Big Brother by leaving with her dignity and publicity for her campaign to stop cowboys operating in the fitness industry.

Dawn was sensationally thrown out of the house after breaking one of the programme's most fundamental rules - not to communicate with the outside world.

She is the second ever house-mate to be chucked out for cheating. The other was the infamous Nasty Nick, who broke the rules by discussing nominations with other contestants.

"I wanted to leave Big Brother because it had become farcical and was having a negative effect on my health," said Dawn. "They were never going to give me my suitcase which contained all my medication for asthma and eczema along with my creams and wash bag.

"I did wash, but if you aren't allowed a change of clothes, you are going to start smelling. I was in there for the campaign and I was not going to stay if it upset my family or my career."

Dawn was caught out when she told housemates she was leaving the house because she had received a "code" from relatives.

Before entering the house, they had come up with a plan to send her a message through Big Brother that her "sister is ill" if she was receiving bad publicity or anything that could damage her career.

Friends were worried that Big Brother was manipulating view-ers into nicknaming her "smelly Dawn" because she would not take a shower without her swimming costume. That had been confiscated by the show's producers.

Reports today claimed Dawn had studied videos of Hitler to gain a place in the house and con producers into believing she had a nasty image.

Her close friend Anita Aheer, aged 41, from West Bromwich, said: "Dawn is a tough cookie and will cope fine after Big Brother.

"She tricked show producers to get a place in there to highlight the campaign and has left at the point she wanted to. She has nothing to be ashamed of."

Dawn, who graduated last year with a degree in exercise science from Wolverhampton University, is campaigning for new legislation to stop cowboys operating in the health and fitness industry.

Much of the coverage focused on the hygiene of the former pupil at King Edward's Handsworth Girls' School, in Handsworth Wood.

He's missed the point anyway. Once the code has been sent and understood then it makes no difference who knows about it after! If the enigma machine started decoding information after the Germans told everyone what they had been sending, I have a feeling it wouldn't quite be as well known as it is.

Looks like Davina's going to come across all patronising tonight over the leaving of Dawn, saying she's a cheat blar... blar... so she was saying on BBLB, she would have been if she'd had stayed and won it, but using it get out and leave. Nah I don't think so... there just peed off that someone has got one over on them at last.

Dawn is full of sh*t. Endemol/C4 could not deprive you of medication for recognised medical conditions. She cheated, she got found out and she got booted. Good riddance. Perhaps now she will discover the meaning of "Mum Roll-On"

Big Brother are really miffed with Dawn, it's so apparent through all of the remarks and/or lack of them regarding her departure. All presenters concerned must have been given a directive to play it down and not really discuss her now she has gone. I wonder if she chose not to be interviewed on BBLB or if she was just not invited? The later I think!

It is so clear that she was playing BB at their own game. And good on her I think. It just shows what sore losers the BB team are.

I thought Dawn was an excellent housemate. She was witty, intelligent, caring, and for the most part honest. I think it's a shame they kicked her out....HA...she left before they booted her...verbally anyway.

I personally would rather watched Dawn for 13 weeks than Sezer the letch...ewwww he makes me want to vom!

Agree AJ100, shes really showed the idjits at endemol up, but it seems the credulous are happy to go along with the edited plot

Did you see the way they just kept talking over her in the diary room? Every other housemate that has ever left has had the chance to have some final words etc etc, she was just being shouted over and forced to listen (since she was locked in!) then kicked out the door.

Had to laugh at BB's lameness, Davina sarcastically goes 'look at the emotive response from the HMs to her departure' and then we're shown a clip of her being told to come to the diary room 3 seconds after the lights go on to wake the HMs up! Of course they're not going to be crowding round her going 'ooh, goodbye!' they're barely even awake!

We're all BB vets here, theres 1000s of rules that we know have been broken just as bad, they've all been giving a reprimand.

The jungle-cats, the scum of bb3, all of bb6 broke the rules much more vehemently.

The Hms weren't surprised, coz they knew she was about to leave voluntarily

Hmm - well, all she was saying was "Oh shut up, oh shut up", so what would have been the point of letting the silly, cheating cow talk? I'm glad she's gone - an all round liar and a huge letdown. If I'd been passed over in favour of her, I'd be furious.

Just watched Dawn-gate, I missed it last night.

How stupid. Dawn had asked to leave and yet BB claim they were removing her Then Pete read the note to say any rule breaking would be reprimanded (not 'removed like Dawn)

a c*ck up by BB. The ''oh shut up'' but was a let down but other than that I think BB are tryig to cover up the fact that they have screwed up a but so far this season.
