Yes and with a similar attair as last year.
Last years was fun ,so many interesting people to chat to which made the 6 hour wait go quicker.
It's worth going if only for the experience.

For those thinking of going to one of the auditions you might like to read my account of my day at the Birmingham audition last year.
Here

In addition to that if you are picked from your group you are taken Upstairs where you are logged in and you photo taken. Then you go into a room with tables where others that have been picked are sat. You are given a form with questions to fill in. At the point you complete and sign the form you are classed as a contestant and you are told that you mustn't talk about the proceedures beyond the group thing downstairs. You do get a talk from one of the researchers then in groups you go into a darkened room with a row of makeshift diary room cubicals. You are shown to your own cubical where there is a seat and bright light and a camera. I have to say that you can't see much once seated do to the light in your face.
A voice then says something like "This is BigBrother when you hear the tone you have 60 seconds to tell us why you should be on BigBrother". And the time goes really quick. You hear another tone and the voice says "Thank-you ,you may leave the diaryroom".
You then wait in the carridor with your group and someone appears after a few minutes to say if anybody has made it to the next level.
If you are lucky ,and I wasn't ,you go off with a researcher to fill in the 25 page form which they say takes about 3 hours to complete which they will help you complete. If you get past that bit I think you are asked back on the Sunday. You'll have to find someone who's attended the Sunday bit to find out more.

Post subject:  Judith Kilshaw sets her sights on Big Brother
A DEESIDE woman who hit the headlines five years ago has told of her ambition to take part in the reality show Big Brother.

Judith Kilshaw, of Killins Lane, Shotton, plans to apply for this year’s series of the hit show and may take part in next month’s auditions. She believes the show will give her an opportunity to represent North Wales to the rest of Britain.

Judith and husband Alan shot to infamy in 2001 when the pair tried to adopt a set of twins over the internet.

The babies became the centre of a tug-of-love between two sets of adoptive parents and were taken into care by social services, before being returned to their native US.

She said: “I think it would be an experience and it would be quite good entertainment. I’m not interested in the money, I just think it would be refreshing to have somebody that is local to North Wales. We have had South Wales, London and we have even had America represented.”

Post subject:  Big Brother hunt for housemates in city auditions
SCOTS who fancy taking part in Big Brother can head for auditions in Glasgow this weekend.

Hopefuls for the TV reality show, which begins in June, are invited to the SECC from 9am on Saturday.
The Glasgow date is the first of eight auditions in the UK and Ireland for the Channel Four series.
It comes a week after the finale of sister show Celebrity Big Brother, won by non-celebrity Chantelle Houghton.
At Saturday's auditions, everyone who queues will be met by the production team and have a chance to show why they should star in the show.
Contestants must be 18 or over. Those who impress will have one minute to sell themselves to Big Brother in a mock-up of the show's diary room.
At least 16 people are expected in the final line-up for the show.
Several Scots have already been on the show, including Jason Cowan, 32, from Motherwell, who was runner-up in 2004.

I'm thinking of going to the Dublin auditions...just to interview some of the hopefuls for my "Ray makes your Day" slot on the radio. Still haven't decided whether it's a good idea to turn up or not...what do you lot think??

Thanks for that Larry.

Blimey, it all sounds very (appropriately) Orwellian.

Any rats in cages? Or is that just what happens when they chuck them in the house?

I think it's a cool idea, as long as you programme in plenty of time to answer THEIR questions! Rather than the time being taken up by you interviewing them it might well be the other way round!

It's amazing how short the memory span is of those around you. You speak with them they ask the questions you tell them that it's not for real and I don't work for them (BB) 30 minutes or more passes and they've forgotten. Helps make the wait pass quicker as you spend a lot of the time talking with so many people.
This year I'm not walking from the station in the new jacket .As people tend not to see past the blue background on the badges (outside of the audition) this jacket might get me in a bit of bother. So I'll swap jackets before joining the others queuing.
I know I'm eccentric in a few ways ,this being just one of them.

Big Brother producers will be auditioning more wannabe housemates this weekend.

In addition to the previously announced casting call in Glasgow on Saturday, the producers will be visiting Inverness the following day in a special "Big Brother Casting Coach".

The coach will pull up at Falcon Square at 9am on Sunday to begin auditions. Everyone who queues up will be met by the production team, with those who "impress" being invited into the coach to "sell themselves" in sixty seconds.

The casting coach is expected to travel on and visit several extra cities in the weeks ahead.

So you was thought of as a steward? haha come on admit it, you knew that would get the totty chatting to you,that was your cunning plan all along

On a serious note, I admire your bottle for going to the auditions and wanting to do BB, why do you want to go into the house?
