Quote: 100 golden tickets will be placed into KitKat four-finger single bars and Kit Kat Chunky single bars for distribution across the country. The lucky winners of these tickets, having passed the programme's prerequisite and thorough background checks, will be invited to pack their bags, say goodbye to their loved ones and head down to the Big Brother studios for a special live TV broadcast where one of the lucky ticketholders will then be chosen at random to enter the house.
UPDATE: More details have been added on the website. Good luck. More details.. video 1 video 2 video 3 |

A Channel 4 spokesman said: "This is a first for Big Brother. Nothing on this scale has ever been tried before in a reality show. "We are always looking at new ways of trying to find brilliant housemates and the golden ticket feels like a genuinely exciting way to do so." Given some of the housemates they've found by other methods, I can't help thinking that the Golden Tickets would provide infinitely superior candidates. |

Hmmm!...Interesting...and sounds fun but I wonder if it will be a legit random person from the public who gets the ticket or whether it will still be someone picked by Endemol...say if a child gets it??? |

Yeah, give the monsters a child for a week. See how many hours the child last until it begs to be released from the utter tedium of Ibiza holiday talk, and lack of TV. --- Calrissian: busy Sunday |

I see that the News of the World is already offering to buy someone's ticket from them, as long as it is not validated.....bet the tabs will be falling over themselves to get a reporter into the process. I'm giving up Kitkats this week

Watching that video made me think that they'd had help from a TV production company...? |

It isn't really the 100 golden tickets but an advert, I think it could be aired on tv in the advert break of the show |

They are doing an advert for the Golden Tickets, and two housemates from each series are doing it. I wonder if Cameron was involved. I know Craig from BB6 is one. |
