the way they go so OTT about it pisses me off a lot lot more. especially nikki. sanitised bitch. has she never been camping or anything like that? 'I smell of deodorant' she says as if it is something to be proud of.

Whenever I had any staff problems about body odour I would call a meeting and say someone is smelling rank and would they kindly make sure they had a bath/shower befotre they came to work. If my gentle way of dealing with the matter was ignored I would just call the person to my office and tell them out straight.

I used to work in mental health, and I'd be even more direct. I'd say to the person "You need a bath. People are complaining that you smell". There's no way to pretty it up at all. Poor Dawn - I hate the way they are all talking about her but not to her

I think someone like Lea should tell her. She is mature and I think that Dawn would realise that she wasn't telling her to be bitchy. And whilst she is at it, she could tell Nikki, to stop being such a bitch about it.

Dawn, fit...but smelly. Ick.

If I was there, I'd forgo all tact, and just say "...hey, look Dawn, you're polite and nice, but you stink. Has no one ever told you this before, I guess not?"

I guess I won't be marrying her either.

Calrissian: Single, but not desperate ;)

Why doesn't someone leave a can of deodorant on her pillow or something. They could order one in the next shopping list. Than she might twig, and then if she got a cob on about it, then they could tell her. There's no easy way, but that would be the best.

Great idea Mr O', but clearly, she thinks its normal in current mainstream society to stink. Some people do.

Calrissian: Smelling of roses...or rather...Chocolate

Its inevitable that it will be blurted out by someone, and I cant wait to see that!

Maybe she is doing it deliberately to get her suitcase?

it's a really difficult one. It's making me paranoid that I don't smell all this talk of it :-? I know it is difficult to talk to a person about something like this but I also think Nikki could be a whole lot more descreet about it. Although she was funny to begin with this kind of thing could remain with Dawn for a long time when she is out, as the one who smelled etc and that is quite hurtful. They need to either deal with it or shut up about it now.

I think it would be kinder if the group casually bring up the subject of personal hygiene in general conversation and go on about the need for a deodorant after a bath/shower. I wonder would the brotherhood group offer to loan their deodorant to *all* the people without luggage.
