could someone tell me what they ment on BBBM when they said they couldnt talk about shabaz's mental state? whats gonig on? i just thught he was a bit weird 
sorry to start a seperate thread but im only on for a shirt time so havebt got time to read through others threads!!

I think they're worried about legal procedings, both from Shebang's camp (after all they supposedly put him through rigorous psychological testing, to ascertain that he was suitable for the BB experience  ), and from the person who might be expected to take the blame for Shebang's inclusion.
I think he was an attention-seeker, rather than a genuinely troubled individual, but once he started going on about wanting to die in the house, they would have had to pull the plug on him (no pun intended!). They can't show smoking during the day time, as it might incite young impressionables to take up the habit. Ditto suicide threats, perhaps.

The BBBM audience are occasionally told they can't mention certain things for legal reasons. Early last year, we were told we couldn't call Mary "mad" because it would mean Endemol (and us personally) would be liable for libel (try saying the 6 times quickly!), so I imagine this is the same sort of thing. |
