THE Big Brother electorate turned out in their droves to bury Sezer last week.

The London entrepreneur picked up more than 91 per cent of the poll — a record tally (though I think Lisa came quite close in BB4).

Sezer has been the subject of a flurry of campaigns to get him out ever since his nomination was announced. He became such a favourite for the chop that bookies stopped taking bets on him.

The only people who seemed surprised when his name tripped from Davina’s lips on Friday night were the housemates — and none more so than the man himself.
Rarely has such a look of genuine, jaw-dropping astonishment been captured on primetime TV.

So where did it all go wrong for the self-styled “Sleazer”?
If he had been up against Richard and Lea the previous week, there’s little doubt that either Campy or Vampy would have been shown the door instead.
We may be long past the Ides of March, but arrogance, conceit, cockiness and sexism all contributed to Sezer’s demise.
He seemed to believe his was an unassailable position — lynchpin of the strongest group in the house, sex appeal guaranteeing his popularity with the ladies on the outside.

A working knowledge of his tragic Roman soundalike, Julius, might have forewarned him that such pride goes before a fall.

I know I am inm the minority but,Richard turned on the watrerworks for the sympathy vote .lea why the devil does she look such a freak and then want aceptance nice enough lady but, Sezer was just jack the lad and didnt hide it I for one liked him it was all tongue in cheek whatever he said did was just himself he a really nice guy , at heart. I would rather him in there that the other 2.

Not having seen any of it on tv (can't watch it here ), just been reading the news bit on Ch4 -site, I'm sorry to see Sezer go. I would honestly have given up Lea first. I guess it looks really different when you're watching it then.

There's such a thing as hiding your true feelings/opinions behind an ironic stance for fear of the consequences of being honest. I think a lot of bigots do this today. Some people seem to miss/yearn for the days when they could freely express their prejudices.

I believe Sleazer is one of them. Not for a minute do I buy his tongue-in-cheek, cheekie chappie, loveable rogue act. He's all front, and it's all an exaggerated version of the real Sleazer.

You can tell his irony is fake, and that the obnoxiousness is real, because he really is an arrogant, self-deluded tosser. All his posturing about why was going to stay, and the 'little girls' would love him, all that was what he truly thought. That wasn't play-acting. It was what he really believed.

The proof? The utter shock when his name was announced by Davina. That face said everything. He's a cocky arse who doesn't appreciate that most people of sensecan see right through him, verified by his securing 91.6% of the votes.

As Richard said, "There is not a gentle compassionate side to Sezer. The man is completely self-obsessed and I've said some of these things to his face."

Sleazer said in the Diary Room, if Richard was evicted, he'd be in his face, gloating. He was a nasty little bully. Examples included throwing Shahbaz's food away, locking him in the garden, and threatening to bully Aisleyne.

He was aggressive too. Remember during fake-gate when Big Brother ordered him to the diary room in a very stern voice and told him to calm down? Luckily for Richard, he is much bigger and stronger than Sleazer. What would Sleazer have done if he had the physical advantage?

Add to this aggression, his sexism and homophobia.

Comments such as referring to Lea as "a dirty, filthy wh*re" and to Richard as a "shirt-lifter" and "pillow-biter" are not ironic. They are entirely consistent of his backward mentality. His comments are intended to sound ironic, but they really aren't.

Richard again, "there are only so many times that something is funny. I seriously hope the women of Britain see this man (for what he is)."

And they did. Along with an awful lot of men who can see through the teenage bravado. I repeat again, 91.6%!!!

Richard again, "Look at him lying there! He's just a greasy slimeball... I find his references towards women are far too much... his complete vulgarity towards women which I don’t tolerate at all."

John McCrirrick saw Sleazer for the slimy, little, sexist scumbag he is. And he should know!

No, I cannot accept that Sleazer is "a really nice guy at heart".

He is a predatory little prick who thinks women are a conquest. He slobbered over Imogen and she had to tell him to back-off a few times. He entered as an arsehole ("Sezer's Palace! Game on!") and left as an arsehole. Because he IS an arsehole.

Just ask the woman who had her photographs repeatedly posted on web forums. Odious slimebag, thankfully, he's gone. Back down whatever sewer he crawled from (the stock market).

Alan you have just articulated everything that I believe about Sleazer. I hate seeing in the press the other day a whole sob story about his life growing up, almost 2 pages, then in a tiny little box at the bottom was 'Sezer apologises for internet photos'.

Worse thing is he will still get enough fame, money and girls to last him a lifetime after all this.

I too can't stand people who tell sexist, racist or sexist jokes and then explain it away as being tongue-in-cheek.

Yeah I agree with Alan, we were discussing Slezer in the office today (I didn't realise anyone else in there was a BB viewer!!) and I think the hatred for his ways is pretty much universal.
