I dont know that if this has been discussed, but I was ever so slightly taken aback by Luke's exit reaction. He came over in Davinas interview as a very frightened little boy who let his gob get flapping far tooooooo much.

Then I saw him later on BBBM and at one point I thought he was about to get a punch in the head from the guy sitting next to him.

I admit that I liked the guy at first, then went through a brief "I Hate Luke" phase...But I just hope he wakes up and see's true reality and grows up. I dont want to see someone hurt him just because he gave an outward impression of a git we would all like to slap.

 Most of this evening he was acting like a spoilt school boy who had had his goodies taken away. After he heard his name the looks of hatred he slung around the room were quite explicit and he certainly does not like MO

From day one I did not like him but will admit that he can be funny at times.

A great HM is so many ways... and really did have it in the bag.

But he clearly just didn't have the insights or bravery to extend himself in the house. His every move was frustrated because the game wouldn't flow in the direction he'd obviously got mapped out in his head. Or he was paralised by indecision.

He neither excelled in the tasks or asserted any moral leadership in the House... a surprise given his clean living image. On any measure, he just failed to live up to expectation. Even Mohamed (his sworn enemy) out performs him in every area.

No doubt, Luke will make a name for himself within the BB sphere but outside of that he'll gradually disappear like so many others.

Shame, nice guy but not tough enough for the entertainment/media world.

Never has a HM seen their gameplan go up in as much smoke as Luke. Indeed, never has a HM been so out of touch with what sort of people his beloved public are finding unacceptable. Still, at least now he can be united with his one true love:

BB LUKE: SEX, BEX AND ME...

GEEKY Luke Marsden was last night hoping for a hot reunion with busty Bex Shiner after he was booted out of the house.

The pair were dubbed The Freak and The Geek by fans.

Already? How big was that cheque? Bigger than him methinks....sweet baby Jesus, he knew exactly what he was doing.

I've been a lowlife in my time, but this idiot is making me look good. Thanks Luke :D

I don't think Luke had a gameplan at all. I think he was completely, 100% himself in there, and honest about it as well. So he bitched about the other HMs - so what? Everyone does it, both in BB and in real life. He was spot on in all his observations, and he's sussed out Kat and Rachel good and proper.

I think he was a little frightened about what kind of response he'd get. He knew, as he said in his interview, that for some bizarre reason, people don't like HMs who talk about other HMs in the diary room and then are nice to their face, despite the fact that every human on the planet talks about others behind their back.

He was right to warn Lisa and the others not to trust the likes of Darnell, Kat and Rachel - they're the only gameplayers as far as I can see.

You are kidding, surely?

He was spectacularly wrong the entire time. He had an opinion (sometimes several contradictory ones) about every task, twist, shopping list, HM, eviction and odd noise from the camera run... and every damn time he was wrong.

As for the bitching or whatever you want to call it? Good for him if thats the way he wanted to play it... but that's ALL he ever did. Does anyone here know more about the real Luke and what makes him tick than they did on Day 1? Nope. Well last week, Luke volunteered the names of his parents, thats about the only thing he's told his HMs (or us) in 8 weeks. He's the biggest fake in this house (and a few of the previous ones) bar none.

His observations about his fellow HMs, John, were spot on. He sussed out Cookie Monster and Chickpea-Brain straight off. Shame the viewing public haven't.

Shame Luke didn't say what a cretin Dennis was. Dennis, the person Channel 4 will remove from memory, Stalinist style.
And I don't care how annoying & stupid Mohamed is.
Quite right for Channel 4 & Endemol regarding a person spitting in another person's face - what Dennis did is beyond the pale - & glad to see Jennifer hasn't mentioned him yet.
No doubt she's been told not to.

Yeah, Luke was favourite to go & did, & yeah he was actually funny once or twice in the interview.
Rex probably deserved to go on the evidence of last night's edit but his girlfriend was lined up to go in & Endemol conveniently told us all through their overpaid puppet Davina that the lines were closed before the programme would start.

But Luke was always a willing 'performing monkey/geek' for Endemol' who will never understand he is a patronised human being, like others from the BB past.

He admitted to overexcited Davina that he was a coward who would slag people off in the diary room but would bottle saying anything to their faces.

Good luck to him & Rebecca in their 'z-list' promotion - they both deserve it.

No wonder most people thought he was annoying. ;)

Does anyone know anything about the real Rachel or the real Kat or the real Mo? Do you know the names of Kat's parents? What she thinks about anything outside of the house, her fellow housemates, the game so far? Any accusation you level at Luke can be levelled at any number of other housemates.

Quite so, but its the replies back that are telling...

Kat has spoken at length about her family, her coming to England, her travels around the world and a whole host of other things. And yes Kat told us in week one her parent's names, what they did for a living and a great deal about life in Thailand.

The thing is though, while you highlighted Luke's observational prowess (which is absent of any evidence) the House's other acclaimed 'observers', Rex and Darnell have been freely discussing their respective lives outside the house. Too much so in the case of Rex probably.

The point I was making; is that Luke believed he could win the game by attrition alone. Simply by removing all the competition he would win by default. This strategy is fatelly flawed because more than 5 HMs will enter the final (I said weeks ago this should have been his goal). Once there, he would only win if the public knew who the real Luke was... but Luke squandered 8 weeks telling us nothing about himself. What traits were incidentally revealled were almost all negative. As a consequence he lost his fans at an alarming rate and picked up a growing number of haters.

As someone who has watched hundreds of hours of Live Feeds, I can tell you little more about Luke (the real one) than was contained in his pre-publicity material and entrance VT. And that's why Luke is out now.

Seeing Luke on todays BBLB is all the proof anyone needs...

The guy is a barking fruit case with not the smallest grasp on reality
