Good to see she was rewarded. She deserved that.

Two things:

1. Look how unhappy Rex is at first, probably regretting some of his barbs at Rachel's expense now that he sees how big her boyfriend is

2. Dale was the first to hug her. Quite hypocritical as he's the one in there who most hates Rachel. But still, good airtime. What better time to show you care than at that emotional moment? Oh, and coincidentally, the day before he's evicted.

It was uplifting to see Kat being so happy for Rachel, in the same way that Rachel rejoiced at Kat's letter. See, sometimes Big Brother can show the better side of human behaviour ~ sometimes.

Didn't see it myself, but from reading live updates, apparently he got the voucher for a message from home and gave it to her. So not quite as cynical as it looks, although I guess the above can still apply Pretty much the first unselfish act he's done in there anyway.

Rachel goes to the Diary Room after receiving her message from home...

The look on Rachel's face when she received her video message from home was a picture. She was obviously quite moved and when she was summoned to the Diary Room, she had a few words for Big Brother.

"Love you, love you, love you, love you, love you," she squealed as she plonked herself down on the Diary Room chair.

"That was a very, very, very kind thing for you to do for me," she gushed. "I can't thank you enough - it was amazing," she added.

Big Brother expressed happiness that Rachel was happy.

"I'm really chuffed that my boyfriend was there," Rachel continued, "because he's the shyest guy you'll ever meet. For him to do that is a big deal."

Big Brother asked Rachel if there was anyone in particular she was pleased to see on the video.

"My Mum," replied Rachel. "My Mum's amazing. I miss her a lot."

And after some equally gushy comments about her boyfriend, her Dad and her half sister, Rachel just had one thing to say: "Just gotta let it sink in now."

Indeed.

Maybe Dale didnt want a message from home but that was still nice of him to give it to Rachel

AWW I'm really glad Rachel got a message - she deserved that, she's so nice and I really think someone should say something when Rex constantly bullies her. I think it's horrible, and I think it's because he knows she's genuinely nice and a threat to him in the house.

Aw, that actually brought a tear to my eye, dammit.

Dale is a saint

A friends' cousin who's bin man once lived on Dale's street has heard a rumour that apparently Dale's eviction outfit is made from the skins of orphans.

Good! Hate those razor-toothed little f-ckers! And their tedious bobbing up and down in the ocean, begging for fish, all the while chittering away like maniacs with those annoying high-pitched squeals for attention.

It always takes a minute or two before the concrete pulls them under. Why must they all resist?

Shame on you, Alan - trying to do away with the poor orphans, when they could easily be put to good use.

Hung upside-down by their toes, their heads could be used to scrub pots in Rex's Daddy's restaurants.

That's how Rex started, you know.

Then he graduated to chief bottle-washer. His cone head was particularly useful.
