It doesn't say anywhere in that link that he would say or do anything to win. but id did say this...
Quote:
But a former homeless woman called the Daily Star yesterday and claimed Rex had come to her rescue last year.

She said: “I was on the streets when all of a sudden this posh car pulled up and out got this young man with ginger hair and a his friends. Minutes later he came running back and handed me £200. I never forgot his face.

What a good man. {@}

I heard him on the live feed talking about being humbled that people had voted to keep him in. He sounded very genuine. He really isn't all that bad.

Maybe he will use all his media coonections to find that women and give her another £200. It is amazing how this infomation from the homeless woman has come to light just in time for the Daily Star front page story today.
I am not going on BB press fed story lines to make my mind up on any of the housemates, I do that myself by watching more of the show then any of the journalists do; and from what I have seen of him in the house he is a nasty peice of work who is capable of spitting in his girlfriends face, plus he never has had the courage to play the game fairly, he has to go in for the kill to make himself seem the better option to the voters.

I don't go on press fed story lines either which is why I felt I had to balance up the rather biased title of the thread by pointing out there are two sides. It doesn't say anywhere in that link that he will do or say anything to win. I want to make my own mind up and I have. His genuine humility at people picking up the phone to vote for him was touching. Not in the least bit arrrogant. He really isn't all that bad. :D

I didn't think they were allowed to say that they would give the winnings to charity.

As far as that homeless woman goes, how does the Star know that the person who phoned was a homeless woman? She could just have been one of Rex's friends or relations trying to make Rex look more favourable - and it is strange how this story has just come out in the Final week.

Thank you, Boop, some people are just too blinkered/thick to see that he has his good, gentle side as well as the classic, wind-up merchant we (by which I mean intelligent people) all know and love.

Whose comforting did Rachel seem to value most after Cookie Monster was booted? Yep - Rex's. And he was very sweet with her about it as well.

Why does Rex have to keep saying he would donate his winnings to charity?
I know, because he has to buy the winner's title just like he buys everything in life. He is buying Darnell and Sara's support by telling them about all the good times he will have with them when they leave the house. He has played to the gallery so he is not voted out of the house, and if he thought of anything else he could do or say for that not to happen he would do or say it.

I'll do anything to get to Nicole

CHEATING Rex Newmark told fellow housemates last night that he will outrun security and jump barriers to get to pretty blonde girlfriend Nicole when he gets the BBoot tonight.
