Five months ago Luke Marsden was just a student from Whelley, commuting to Salford University for his politics lectures. But on June 5 he entered the Big Brother house and his life changed forever. He became the seventh housmate to be evicted on August 1, and since then has been busy with his exclusive deals and personal appearances. WiganNews |

To be fair, I suppose it's the stuff of all local papers - hyping up the 'local boy done good' thing, and it'd be a bit mean to pick holes in it. It's true, five months ago, Luke was 'just a student', and now look at him!  And maybe he did indeed 'capture the nation's hearts'. I couldn't possibly comment, as a foreigner. Although someone really should have checked the spelling, before describing the dog as a 'chiwawa'. |
