REALITY TV star Mikey Hughes caused a stir when he turned up at an Ayr restaurant. The runner-up of Channel 4’s Big Brother was welcomed, along with his mother and sister, to the Shanghai Rendezvous and received a hero’s welcome from staff and fellow diners. Owner Dian Cai said: “It was delightful to meet Mikey and his family — I noticed that he was happy to talk to other guests in the restaurant if approached — in Chinese terms we would say that he has a good heart”.
