Children in Need got into full swing last night in South Wales.
Thousands of people from across the region took part in activities to raise cash for the annual charity event, with the Welsh event held at Cardiff’s Wales Millennium Centre for the first time.
Torchwood star John Barrowman and former Blue Peter presenter Gethin Jones hosted, as the crowd were treated to a performance from Cardiff choir Only Men Aloud! and a special show from the Only News Aloud! choir made up of members of the BBC Wales news team.

Big Brother winner Rachel Rice manned the phones for BT at its call centre in Cardiff city centre.
The 24-year-old helped out for two hours as staff raised more than £1,000 for Children in Need, with two staff members raising £200 by having their heads shaved. Cardiff Devils ice hockey stars also took to the phones at the Barclays call centre in the city centre.
