IRST impressions are not all they’re cracked up to be. Plenty of people close to me didn’t overly rock my boat on day one, and my best friend of today had initially moaned to the person who introduced us that she couldn’t be bothered making conversation with me because she had “enough friends”.
Some people are quiet, some like being nice to others, though the description’s come to be such a slur it’s almost up there with kitty killer.
I’ll be honest, Welsh contestant Rachel Rice bored me on the most recent Big Brother. I wanted her to do something, anything.
But while I was willing her to try and make the boys laugh, start up interesting debate, or even have a glass of wine and risk the consequences, I sympathised.
