KILWINNING Big Brother contestant Mikey Hughes is planning to venture into politics in 2009. The blind radio DJ is planning to carve out a career as an MP in his native Ayrshire and Arran with the aim of standing against Labour MP Katy Clark. Mikey, 34, was speaking at the launch of the Big Brother 10 auditions in Edinburgh where he was helping the hopefuls perfect their interview techniques before they faced the selection panel.
