BIG Brother contestant Carole Vincent did not pose topless for Nuts magazine nor did she shag David Beckham over the bonnet of a Boeing 747, allegedly.

Carole Vincent did not steal a policeman’s baton at an anti-war demonstration, an act proven at Southwark Crown Court, London, where her case was dropped after she was sent for trial.

Big Brother contestant Carole Vincent did get to meet Tony Benn and be addressed as Carrrwul.

Vincent said she was arrested after picking up a baton a police officer had dropped. The prosecution – let’s call them the pro-war demonstration - accused her of theft.

And so it is another success for London’s Celebrity Police Force. Oh, yes, dear reader the case might have a been a joke but it was no waste of time for the CPS.

The CPS which always get their picture taken with a celebrity.

Says one copper: “Amy Winehouse – when you’re ready…”
