Former Big Brother champs Brian Dowling and Cameron Stout are among a shortlist of 40 hopefuls trying to win a place in the Big Brother house this summer. As we revealed earlier this week, during the launch night of the show on Wednesday 9 June a large number of possible housemates will arrive at Elstree only for Big Brother to then whittle them down to at least half. Only 20 people will go on to become housemates, and Brian and Cameron are hoping they’re two of the lucky (or not so lucky) few. Do we really want old housemates going back in or should there be a rule against such a thing?

I for one don't want to see any ex housemates in the house this year,
the producers always have enough fresh meat to work with so I will be royaly pissed off if we get a parade of ex housemates spoiling my last BB.

I agree Mads....if they wanted ex hms they should have put them in the cbb house.

I wouldn't mind seeing them, or any other winners, in there for a day or so once a week as a nice way to send the show off and celebrate its history. But competing for a place in the house? That just seems odd.

I agree Finchy and I would especially like to see Brian Dowling again as it seems so long ago since we saw him.

Cameron was on here on Friday, it must be against BB rules to have official stories in Heat before the people concerned are hidden away?

I wouldn't mind any ex housemates that want to do a guest spot on BBLB or BBBM but not going in to the house, the house is for the BB11 housemates the others have had their turn so stay away, I say.

Nobody from there has ever asked me whether I'm hoping to go back in, or indeed whether I've been asked to go back in at all!

But you're not saying which of the two - Endermol asked and you said Yes is the one I guess you're going to say no to, therefore we're going to see you there under your own steam...?
