Day 2 - 0100 The phone rings - a massive scramble of wannabe HM's try to grab it, Lisa succeeds. Lisa is congratulated by BB on becoming the third HM. She is given a task (weak) of picking someone else to become a HM with her. She has 15 minutes and must not tell other wannabe HM's of this part of her conversation with BB. 0113 - E4 goes to commercial break - typical! 0017 - at least they waited for the break to end. She picked Kris to be HM number 4 The rest of the HM's have been given blankets, many have already wrapped these around themselves. 0018 Lisa & Kris go to diary room, but no coverage of this, just rest of HM's |

I may have missed something, like a reason why, but it seems that the male non-HM's are wearing yellow tops with khaki coloured trousers and the female non HM's are wearing grey tops, possibly with black shorts, not totally sure as I'm having to watch E4 on TV in other room from my computer desk! They just went to another ad break as I tried to squint and follow what was going on. |

0136 Back from ad break. Angel saying that all people here should tell each other what they do for a living. Just before the break it was Sree who was asking them all to say their name and five things good plus five things bad about themselves. Rather than make it a free-for-all she is going to pass a mug round, the person with the mug can speak for one minute. She starts. Sree is next. At least the resdt of them have the courtesy to sit and listen. Marcus is laid on floor, head up against a crate, does not look too interested. Some of them seme to have army type coats, maybe that's the khaki stuff I keep seeing. Must go to specsavers I think... |

BB required them all to get changed earlier, which viewers on BBBM got a sneak peak of them. - All part of the de-personalisation. Dress them all the same, and getting them to start acting as the prisoners...that they all are  -- Ohh, and I was right about Freddie....he sits on both sides of the fence. - Angel is really taking a dominant place this first night. Despite who baying mob who did not like her...she is arguably the group leader so far. Calrissian:

0142 Freddie talks - seems to lose his accent a bit? Tells the group he is technically bi-sexual (my guess is that's right - 'cos he's never done anything with either!) Sophie (20 year old blondie with the 30GG's) lots of erm's, that's all I can hear! Ah - return of the tweeting birds! Cheers E4. Now it's Noirin - sorry, I can't turn the sound up as everyone else has gone to bed. I just can't hear it. More sound cuts as Beinazir takes her turn. Kris went to uni in Manchester - male voices are clearer ;-) |

0200 I feel sorry for the others now, Charlie from Newcastle, in full-on Geordie, at speed - even I'm having bother understanding him - then they send the planes overhead with a sound cut. He needs a watch, or someone should throw something at him - he's been waffling for a good 8 minutes ! Finally he passes the mug on, but keeps talking. |

0216 Rodrigo talks - I notice he has had the glasses and moustache drawn on his face. Very difficult to hear some voices. BB are not bringing the microphone channels up of the people talking. 0221 Marcus, still laid on the floor, something about toy companies as we hit a sound cut. I'm struggling to suss out what they are saying so I think I'm going to turn it off and go to bed - not like me at all...

I stayed with it as long as I could on E4. Better coverage on here than the official C4 site too!  The live coverage ended at 6.30am, so I've nothing to watch right now.It was mainly the guests (they're not all HM's blah-de-blah...) telling the rest who they were and what they did for a living. The idea to have a speakers mug was put forward by Angel after Sree suggested the introductions. Some went on for a lot more than the allotted minute, and sound cuts all over the place as BB stopped us hearing the more personal bits. The four HM's enjoyed a treat of strawberries and champagne in the bedroom, but kept going back to the other room to be more sociable. Nobody had gone to bed by the time I did. Those 4 had their suitcases in the bedroom but, unlike previous years, they didn't have nametags on, so they had to look for something else to figure out which was which. Kris helped Lisa push hers to her bedside and she commented that there were times she needed a big strong man. In the bedroom, later on, Rodrigo had quite a conversation with Lisa about clothing, they both like bright colours and they were agreeing to swap things from boxer shorts to nightwear. Yes, Lisa has brought at least 3 pairs of male boxer shorts in. She says she likes mens clothing, so there's one cross-dresser so far this year... Most of the guests seemed to accept that the bare room was 'it' for them and were looking to make the best of it in their uniforms, wrapped in their blanket. A few looks at the big blue container, but nobody really trying to open it or investigate the crates very much. Marcus was using one to prop his head against. The guests seemed to have some small blow-up pillows. Usual first night stuff really, settling in, figuring out what is what, realising there is no kitchen and that the comfy sofas are nowhere to be seen. Can't say I was impressed by the extended use of the crate effect in the bedroom, looked too false to me. On that topic - how many of this year's intake are actors? I have a feeling that they are not all what they make out they are. Oh well, looks like I have to wait for BB's look back at the first night in the highlights show before I see any more today. I'll not bother with repeats of the launch shows. I think I'm going to get bored of this year's effort very quickly without being able to watch it during the day. If I find something else to do then who's to say I'll even watch BB... Yes, I say that for the benefit of the guests we often get on here from Endermol - take note BB, you may be watching the house 24/7 but there are those of us who used to give up a whole summer to do things like this. I'm already bored silly, and it's only day two! |

Channel 4 Charlie and Saffia are now HM's So, there you are, having a nice chat, getting to know each other and all of a sudden a bunch of blokes in balaclavas burst in. That’s exactly what happened to the poor housemates this morning. The SAS team sent shock-waves through the House as they enforced an exercise routine on the gang and ordered Charlie and Saffia into the Garden for a Task – involving walking on broken glass. This is not BB. If they think broadcasting an editied HS at 9pm every night and putting out bits of news on the CH4 site is going to satisfy BB fans they are very much mistaken. When ITV stopped the live coverage of I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here they lost their loyal fan base, just like BB is going to lose their loyal fan base. |
