Highlights from tonight's show, 3 July, " Sree and Marcus argue " Big Brother gives Marcus a formal warning
12.42pm: Siavash is in the bathroom. Siavash knocks on the door of the toilet and Rodrigo jumps out. Siavash jokingly screams and says he nearly passed out
Most of the other housemates are in the garden. Marcus is in the living room. Dogface and Rodrigo are in the kitchen.
In the garden Sree asks Noirin whether she will miss him if he goes on Friday. Lisa tells him to leave it and Kris says: "Pack it in, leave Noirin alone."
Rodrigo and Dogface are in the kitchen talking about Sree. Rodrigo says Sree is nicer this week after last week constantly talking about Noirin and saying he wanted to leave. Dogface says that perhaps he has changed this week as he is up for nomination and they talk about Halfwit sitting near Lisa just to annoy her.
1.14pm: Siavash collects the blackboard from the Diary Room to do the shopping list and gets Sree and Charlie from the garden. They discuss how much money they have to spend on shopping.
In the garden Kris and Dogface straddle and kiss on a chair. Kris looks up and sees Halfwit by the bus stop and says he didn't realise there was anyone else in the garden.
At the dining table, Sree is calculating the shopping list and Marcus thinks he is too slow tells him to catch up. Sree asks him what 13x13s are. Marcus asks him what sex with a woman is like and tells him to "shut up." Marcus completes a sum before Sree and says to him "too slow," they begin to argue. Marcus mimics Sree's accent, saying "13x13s" and Sree tells Marcus he is mocking how he speaks English. Sree tells him that he has no manners, and the two bicker back and forth.
Sree goes into the garden and tells Kris and Dogface that Marcus was "taking the mickey" out of his language and calls him an "idiot." He explains what happened and Kris and Dogface tell him to tell Marcus how he feels and carry on doing the shopping list.
2.07pm: Most of the housemates are in the garden. Noirin, Karly and Dogface are playing in the pool. Marcus comes into the garden and begins lifting weights. Sree is at the other end of the garden. They rehash their previous argument and debate about who started it. Sree tells Marcus to watch his language, Marcus replies "make me, make me. You abused me." Marcus says: "Say it when we're outside, see if you're brave," and Sree replies that if Marcus did anything to him on the outside he would go to the police. Big Brother calls Marcus to the Diary Room and Sree shouts after him: "Go to prison and eat dog food." Halfwit comments that "Marcus has left the room, dude."
In the Diary Room Big Brother tells Marcus that he has been called in to calm down. He replies: "I am calm, don't you think you should take Sree in here since he's the one who starts it all the time?"
In the garden Noirin says that Sree always plays the victim and Lisa tells housemates to leave Sree alone. Halfwit starts to talk but Lisa tells him to stay out of it. Kris tells Halfwit that his "smarmy words" are not helping.
Big Brother tells Marcus that some of his actions may be deemed inappropriate, but Marcus argues the point. Marcus says: "Even in the garden, I didn't say one abusive thing to him, he's just abusing me all the time, always telling me to shut up, telling everyone to shut up, he's just a numpty, I just hope that he gets booted out tomorrow." Big Brother quotes the argument with Sree when Marcus said "Why don't you make me." Marcus tells Big Brother to shut up and he is insulted at being called into the Diary Room. Marcus says: "Throughout the whole thing I've maintain the defensive position, even saying make me is the defensive position because he's the one who initialised an argument, he's the one who came up to me."
Big Brother tells Marcus that Sree will also be spoken with and will get back to Marcus. Big Brother reminds Marcus about imitating accents and quotes the "13x13s" imitation at the dining table. Marcus shouts: "Don't even start all of that b*****ks because when you start all of that, that's when it becomes something. If I had an argument with Noirin and I said it in an Irish accent, or if I said it in a Geordie accent, if I said it in any other accent in the house apart from Sree's we wouldn't be having this conversation and that's a fact."
Marcus says that he mimics Halfwit's voice all the time adding "It's 100% insulting bull***t." Big Brother tells him that no-one is being accused of racism and that Marcus can head back to the house when he is calm. Marcus says that he is calm and leaves the Diary Room.
3.08pm: Some of the housemates are in the garden. Marcus, Noirin, Halfwit and Siavash are in the living room. Big Brother calls Sree to the Diary Room
Halfwit comments that hopefully Sree will be gone the next day, and Marcus agrees. Noirin says that the public might like how annoying he is.
Big Brother asks Sree to explain what happened between him and Marcus. Sree talks about the incident during the shopping list and says Marcus said I was too slow adding up the shopping list. He was taking the mickey out of the way I speak English. Sree says that he doesn't mind if it's done in a friendly way "it's fair and square." Adding: "I'm controlling myself taking back seat and things like this happening, it's really annoying. It's like picking on me, attacking and abuse you and threatening, it's not acceptable. Marcus keeps on annoying me all the time. That's what all I gonna say and if you already talk to him about these things then I'm very happy to leave the diary room."
6.31pm: Some of the housemates are in the kitchen collecting this week's shopping. Dogface, Halfwit, Marcus, Noirin and Siavash are in the bedroom.
Halfwfit talks about a theory called "the gay gene," and thinks that Siavash may have it. Siavash says that he is very manly but can wear a dress and still get women. Halfwit says that he thinks he is manly as well. Siavash says that he would love to be a gay icon and is right on the border of straight and gay, but would never tip over. Noirin asks Halfwit and Siavash which man in the house they would choose if they had to, and Siavash replies Rodrigo. Halfwit says Siavash and the two high five and hug.
7.42pm: Some of the housemates are in the garden. Sree is talking about tomorrow's eviction. Sree tells some of the housemates that it was nice to meet them and whatever happens on Friday "happens."
Big Brother has called Marcus to the Diary Room and instructs him to listen carefully and tells him that he will have a chance to respond. Big Brother refers to Marcus being called to the Diary Room earlier for language which could be deemed "unacceptable," and that Big Brother has spent time reviewing the argument. Big Brother repeats the conversation in which Marcus repeats "Make me" three times and then quotes Marcus' words: "Wait 'til we get outside, say that outside, let's see if you're so brave on the outside." Big Brother informs him that arguments are inevitable but the use of "threatening language will not be tolerated." Big Brother gives Marcus a formal warning and reminds him that any further actions may result in him being removed from the house.
Marcus acknowledges the warning and is given the chance to respond. He says Big Brother is "talking s**t," and that it is "complete w**k." He asks how sitting in a chair could be aggressive, and shows Big Brother what he deems to be aggressive behaviour by standing up and moving towards the camera. Marcus claims that Big Brother is being "sizist" as he is a bigger man and that it is the only reason he is being pulled up about his behaviour. Big Brother assures him that his size has nothing to do with the warning and repeats his words back to him. Marcus accuses Big Brother of second guessing him and that he wouldn't "smack that puissant." Big Brother clarifies to Marcus that his warning is for the aggressive language in the garden and not for any racial reasons.
Marcus leaves the Diary Room. In the living room he growls and says to Halfwit and Siavash that the next time he has an argument with Sree people should say if Sree is wrong.
8.16pm: Some of the housemates are in the kitchen. Kris, Dogface and Rodrigo are in the bedroom talking about Sree.
Kris comments that Sree is "not innocent" and that "the little f**ker runs behind people and brings it on himself." However, he remains adamant that he wants Halfwit to go this week.
Marcus, Halfwit and Siavash are in the living room. Halfwit tells Marcus that he is 100% sure he didn't mean to be threatening, but the words used were similar to a pub situation where someone asks someone outside for a fight. Siavash says that he never plays the foreign card and Halfwit agrees that Sree is the only person he notices isn't from England because he brings it up so much.
9.20pm: Rodrigo and Marcus are in the living room. Marcus asks Rodrigo how he would feel if Big Brother told him he couldn't say anything good about England. He compares this to not being able to say how he feels.
Lisa, Sree and Karly are at the bus stop. Lisa tells Sree that it's not worth rowing but he has behaved well throughout his time in the house. She says he has been "a gentleman to all the women in here," and says she has "felt like a princess." Sree tells her this is because he was taught by his mum and dad to respect his elders, but Marcus is "a 35 year old donkey." Karly says that Sree will have the support of women on the outside world and Lisa suggests he will have the support of men too. Sree says he has never offended anyone in the house and Lisa tells him he can leave with his head held high.
00.32am: On today's shopping list, Housemates were able to hire a selection of inflatables for the pool and garden. Housemates chose to hire the inflatables for one day. Most of the housemates are in the garden. Marcus and Noirin are in the sitting room.
Marcus asks Noirin whether she has started her karate yet, to which she replies that she hasn't. Marcus says he gets annoyed when people say they will do things and then don't, especially massages.
Big Brother has called Halfwit to the Diary Room. Halfwit begins by saying it has been a "harmonious day" in the house and that many people have been understood better in the house. He says he doesn't think for one minute that Marcus was actually threatening Sree or insulting his Indian language. He says Sree is very cynical and while Marcus can get hot headed he wouldn't attack Sree. He finishes by saying Sree is "awful, charming but awful."
