DAY 49
5.08am
For this week’s shopping task, housemates are embracing the culture, the food and the history of Greece. Lisa, Dogface and David are running a kebab van, and Bea, Halfwit, Tom and Marcus are Greek Gods Aphrodite Zeus,
Most of the housemates are in the bedroom. Rodrigo and Charlie are lying side by side giggling. Rodrigo lifts his quilt over their heads. Kissing sounds can be heard. The pair start to giggle and Rodrigo says: “Stop!”
Marcus and Dogface are in the living room talking about Tom and Noirin. Dogface tells him that he needs to take a “step back” as Noirin will end up with “egg on her face.” Marcus explains that he doesn’t know why he likes Noirin as she p***es him off” most of the time adding: “I can’t help wanting to be there for her.”
9.45am
Dogface and Lisa are in the kebab van. Tom and David are in the kitchen. The rest of the housemates are in the bedroom. Big Brother plays in the Greek Task music and Charlie starts dancing on his bed. David rushes to the phone and takes Big Brother’s order.
At the kebab van, David gets confused while relaying the order to Lisa and Dogface then takes the order to the Diary Room. David walks into the bedroom and tells housemates that the task is too difficult. Rodrigo laugh at him and responds: “You said you were looking forward to a task…”
2.21pm
Kenneth, Lisa and David are in the garden talking about London. Kenneth says London has become “repetitive” for him and prefers New York.
Big Brother calls Bea to the Diary Room. Big Brother instructs her to make her way to the task room for ‘Aphrodite’s’ blind date. Bea asks: “Is he a hottie?” before making her way to the room.
In the Date Room, Bea is greeted by her date Robin who on seeing her says he feels “massively underdressed.”
2.42pm
Big Brother plays the 60’s love anthem J’ taime in to the Date Room and Bea and Robin have a short dance. Bea says that the music signals the end of her date and tries to leave. The door remains locked. Looking embarrassed, Bea tries again and the door open. In the Dairy Room, Bea tells Big Brother that she rates Robin as 7 out of 10.
4.28pm
Some of the housemates are in the garden. Marcus, Siavash, David and Noirin are in the kitchen.
Halfwit has come to the Dairy Room. Big Brother instructs Halfwit as Zeus, that as a secret task. He must now take full responsibility for the task. All previous challenges are void. “The burden of this week’s shopping task is on your shoulders.” Halfwit must not say anything to his fellow housemates or he will fail the task.
Marcus, Noirin, Halfwit and Siavash are in the kitchen. It’s been 25 minutes since Big Brother informed Zeus, aka Halfwit of his secret task. He gives housemates a pep talk and says that it’s not the “winning but the taking part” in relation to the tasks. Siavash jokes: “I’ve no reason to doubt this man,” referring to Halfwits support a few weeks ago during his argument with Noirin.
6.46pm
All of the housemates have been gathered in the garden. Earlier in the Diary Room, Halfwit selected Tom to be Marcus’ opponent in the Arm Wrestling Challenge.
During the first attempt Marcus lifts his bum. At the end of the attempt, Big Brother announces that this attempt is void. Marcus defeats Tom in the second attempt. Tom looses to Marcus, therefore Halfwit failed to chose a winning opponent for this challenge.
Halfwit sits amongst his fellow housemates who notice that he looks extremely worried by Marcus’ victory. Noirin berates Marcus telling him: “I told you not to win it!” and reminds him of the earlier conversation with Halfwit in the kitchen.
7.05pm
Some of the housemates are in the living room. Noirin is moody with Marcus and asks him if he hasn’t “been listening” to anything. Kenneth mentions that Halfwit’s reaction is “puzzling.” Marcus adds: “I think he let me win.”
Bea, Halfwit, Siavash and Tom are at bus stop discussing the next task between Tom and Marcus. Siavash comments: “My money’s on Marcus,” who is on his way over to join them. Marcus says: “I feel like a complete t*t,” and tells Halfwit, I thought you meant that “everyone should try hard in the task.” Halfwit says that is “exactly what I meant, yeah, everyone.” Marcus continues to speculate about the task and Siavash advises him to just “Shut up.” Bea comments: “I still don’t understand.” “You soon will,” replies Siavash. Marcus adds: “I can’t believe I’ve been so slow on the uptake.”
Tom and Noirin are in the living room talking about the Arm Wrestling challenge. Tom has realised that he was meant to win the task adding: “I’m so annoyed I didn’t get that.” Halfwit comes intot the living room and joins the conversation adding that for the next Tom verses Marcus challenge his “money is on Marcus, definitely.” Tom asks Halfwit that is he were betting on “cookies, you’d definitely put them on Marcus.” Halfwit and Siavash reply: “definitely, especially since he minced you in the arm wrestling.”
They discuss Siavash forthcoming money based task against Kenneth. Halfwit advises him that he is in with a chance as “Kenny doesn’t go to the shops very much.” Noirin says that she’s confused by “all these mind games!”
8.50pm
All of the housemates have been gathered in the living room for the Test of Wealth quiz. Kenneth and Siavash go head to head in guessing the prices of seven items. The housemate whose answer was closest to the actual value of the item wins one point. Answer must be written on the bord provided.
The first item, displayed on the TV screen is a pint of semi skimmed milk. Siavash gives a worried smile adding “I’ve never been shopping like that before in my life!” Kenneth’s answer is closest to the actual value and he wins the first point. The second item is a Ferrari F430 Spider costing £160,593. Bea asks: “Have you got one Kenneth?” “No, I took Karly in the shop, we were looking at it, seriously. Karly didn’t even want it.” Kenneth replies. Siavash gives the was closest to the actual value and wins the second point The third item was Tea for two at the Ritz costing, as Kenneth’s answer was closest to the actual value of 75 pounds, Kenneth writes the answer straight away adding: “I stayed next door last week” and goes on to wins another point..
9.11pm
So far Kenneth and Siavash have won three rounds each whoever wins the final round wins the overall challenge. Halfwit looks worried and holds his head in his hands mumbling “oh no” repeatedly. Kenneth wins the final round and therefore wins the entire task. Kenneth notices Halfwits worried state and points toward him saying “Something’s going on.” Noirin asks Halfwit, “What’s wrong, is it really that bad.” Halfwit tells them it is and walks off into the garden as housemates speculate. As Siavash tells housemate: “It’s not as bad as he’s making it out to be.” Halfwit mumbles to himself “yes it is, for f**k’s sake.”
9:28pm
Some of the housemates are in the kitchen. Most of the other housemates are in the Living Room.
Halfwit says of the task “ironically we have won and yet all is lost”. They question what he means and he explains his role and what this week’s task was. He comments “I was working against inclination, it was a tough one but f**k, I did my best.”
BB gives the results of the task and explains that Halfwit revealed his role and so by cheating they lost. Even if he hadn’t they would still have lost. They are told they will be living on the basic budget. They all cheer and clap and joke about chic peas and lentils.

All of the housemates are at the dining table. Big Brother gives the results of the task and explains that Halfwit revealed his role and so by cheating they lost. 3:52am
Most of the housemates are in the bedroom. Marcus and Kenneth are in the living room.
Yesterday Big Brother asked Kenneth to locate ex-housemate and girlfriend Karly’s contraceptive pills, which she had accidentally left in the house.
Kenneth says that the pills “bother” him. He continues “To me it sounds like a message” adding “my weakness is women, a girl will be my downfall.” Marcus says it’s the same for him. Kenneth says that Marcus has been honest with him so he will be honest in return. He turns off his microphone and speaks with Marcus standing close to the toilet door, the cameras can only see them from behind and Big Brother instructs them to turn their microphones back on.
Kenneth comes to the Diary Room. He says of the contraceptive pills “has deeply disturbed me, what would you think? A partner you’ve had problems with before, asking you, to go get their contraceptive pills that they left behind?” he continues “It’s not your fault, Karly may have planned this, it would be grossly irresponsible to not respond to that message.” Big Brother reiterates that there was no message and that Big Brother takes secret messages very seriously. Kenneth replies: “I realise the power. I am unable to perform or partake in this experience. I’ll have a think. I won’t be sleeping. I’ll consider the matter further.”
4:51am
Most of the housemates are asleep in the bedroom. Marcus and Kenneth are in the living room
They look out into the garden and Marcus tells Kenneth to “tread carefully, its not designed to support weight.” Kenneth says to Marcus “as an honourable man please look after my belongings. The conventional way is not an option.” Marcus tells him it’s a win-win situation. Marcus laughs. Kenneth tells him “Ill see you as a close friend after this. I came in a legend, I’ll go out as one.”
They jump up onto the wall and climb the metal frame until they are on the roof. They walk around the roof and have difficulty finding a way that Kenny can get down. Kenny says it’s too high to jump from. They look for alternatives. BB announces that they must get off or face eviction. Marcus laughs.
The camera switches to being filmed separately from within the house. Kenneth jumps down from the lower part of the roof is met by waiting security guards. He then walks out of the house and towards the studios and says into the camera: “What can I say? End of the journey, I did the right and honourable thing for Karly.”
Inside the house Marcus laughs and says to himself “what an eventful day.”
Marcus has come to the Diary Room and talks about Kenneth’s sudden exit from the show and the part he played in it.
Kenneth is in the Big Brother friends and family room located at the studio site. He talk about his relationship with Karly and asks the team to make sure his expensive clothes are returned to him safely.
