You can see Rodrigo watching Charlie all the time, he is the one who instigates most of the interactions between them. There is also a jealousy factor to take into account with them. If Rodrigo spends too mush time with Sophie Charlie gets annoyed, and, if Charlie is messing around in the house and ignoring Rodrigo you can bet Rodrigo will start an argument just to get Charlie's attention. Neither of them are mature enough to just get it on with each other, both are being stubborn, they do not want to be seen as the one who made the first move.
