Highlights from tonight’s show, Saturday 22nd August, 9pm on Channel 4 v Sophie vents in the diary room v Bea gone – and then there were seven. v The Housemates whet their whistle DAY 79 10.24am Today David, Marcus and Bea face eviction from the Big Brother House. Charlie, Rodrigo and David are in the Living Room. For yesterday’s task Housemates created the first ever edition of the Big Brother magazine. As part of the task, they were allowed to read magazines from the outside world. Some of the Housemates are in the Bedroom. Lisa flirtatiously asks Bea if she wants her to ‘Crawl under the sheets with [her]?’ Bea replies ‘Oh yes please’. Lisa comments that she’d be able to ‘Wake [her] up nicely’. They laugh. Sophie is in the Diary Room. She tells Big Brother that she enjoyed the party last night but that she ‘said some things [she] shouldn’t have’. She continues, adding that the story about her being pregnant was a ‘cheeky’ one, and that she knows she’s put on weight in the house. The conversation then moves onto the topic of Kris. Sophie says that he is a ‘cheeky b*stard’ for talking about ‘all that soul searching and all that crap’. She says she thinks he ‘came into the house for all the wrong reasons’ to get publicity and that she doesn’t want to speak to him again. She adds that she only claimed to have slept with him to try to get gossip out of Noirin and that Kris should have just stopped the pregnancy rumours by saying they hadn’t slept together. 1.38pm Rodrigo walks into the Bedroom and lifts up some bed sheets to find Siavash underneath. He asks him if he is ‘playing with [himself] again?’ to which Siavash replies that he ‘has needs’. Rodrigo tells him he should ‘respect the Housemates’. Lisa is in the Diary Room. She tells Big Brother that she is ‘getting on with everybody’ and that although her and David are ‘quite equal’, she thinks of Sophie, Rodrigo and Charlie as close to her too. She says she feels ‘close in a motherly way’ as they are ‘like [her] children’. She comments on Marcus, saying that she hates his swearing but that she ‘can handle it’ and is ‘not scared of him’. She adds that although he likes to say he doesn’t care about anything, she thinks he does. 2.46pm For today's Task Housemates will become the Big Brother Whistling Orchestra. Charlie goes to the Diary Room to collect instructions. As he collected instructions, he will become the conductor for the orchestra. Housemates must separate into boys and girls and, once separated, will be required to learn and perform a whistle version of the Grease classic 'Summer Nights' Housemates will be given a couple of hours to learn the track ready for their performance. Throughout the performance Big Brother's Booze-o-meter will be measuring the Housemates effort and enthusiasm. The more effort and enthusiasm that Housemates put into the performance the more alcohol they will receive as a prize later. If Big Brother deems the Housemates performance shows little effort or enthusiasm the Booze-o-meter will go down and the Housemates will receive little or no alcohol. Charlie and Sophie are in the Living Room. They are practising singing ‘Summer Lovin’. Lisa, David and Siavash are in the Garden whistling the tune of ‘Summer Lovin’. Bea is in the Bedroom. She is also whistling. The shots cut between all Housemates as they practise separately to create a full rendition of ‘Summer Lovin’. When finished, Lisa comments ‘that’s a lot of whistling’. 4.06pm Housemates have been practising whistling for the last 1 hour and 39 minutes. David, Bea and Lisa are in the Kitchen. David is singing into a sink plunger, pretending it’s a microphone. He then sings an ode to Vivienne Westwood and asks the Housemates if they think he could get a number one with it. Big Brother calls Charlie to the Diary Room. After Big Brother questions the effort of the Housemates in the whistling task, Charlie assures Big Brother that he is ‘working them hard’ and that they ‘have a good thing going’. When asked who isn’t trying as hard as the others, he replies that Siavash and Bea probably aren’t. He promises that he will ‘go to town on everyone now’. He then exits the Diary Room and calls all the Housemates into the Kitchen for a group practise. 5.25pm Big Brother has gathered all the Housemates in the Garden for the performance of today’s task. Big Brother has provided Housemates with costumes. In the Garden is Big Brother’s booze-o-meter which will rate the Housemates performance in real time. Dressed in suits, the Housemates begin the whistling task. Siavash starts to dance on the spot and the girls follow suit and begin to dance too. Halfway through the rendition Siavash starts to laugh. This then sets off the other Housemates, who all get the giggles. When the task ends the Housemates cheer, applaud and hug each other. Siavash comments that ‘that was the funniest thing’. Big Brother confirms to Housemates that they finished the song as the booze-o-meter was on ‘Lots of Booze’ so Housemates have won lots of booze. 5.46pm Bea and Siavash are in the Garden. Bea tells Siavash that she doesn’t moan and that he is ‘overly critical’ of her. He reassures her that he has ‘no hard feelings towards’ her. Marcus is in the Diary Room. When asked by Big Brother about the upcoming eviction he says he ‘could not give a f*ck’ about who leaves. He comments that if he is to leave, however, ‘this programme will go to sh*t’ and will go from being ‘5 stars to half a star’. He claims that he brings ‘wit’, ‘humour’, ‘athleticism’, ’rugged good looks’, ‘grotesque muscularity’ and ‘sleeping in a corner’ to the house, amongst many many other things. 6.10pm Some of the Housemates are in the Bedroom. Marcus tells Housemates that he is taking the remains of his chocolate bar with him if he gets evicted. Bea jokingly says that this is ‘as tight as a f*cking fish’s arse’ and that it is ‘completely f*cking in character’. Sophie comments to Marcus that he ‘swears so much’ and that he should consider ‘anger management’. He light-heartedly tells her to ‘f*ck off’ and tells Bea that he ‘has a horrible feeling in [his] stomach that she might stay’. He then laughs. She asks if anyone else is laughing and then mutters ‘thought not’. 6.25pm Lisa and David are in the Garden. David tells Lisa that he thinks she is ‘the best Housemate ever’ and that he’ll be rooting for her when he leaves. He promises her that he ‘will be waiting on the outside’ at her eviction. Lisa tells him to tell Davina to wear a nice black dress for her eviction. She suggests that she and Davina would have a lot in common and tells him to remind her that they are the same age. 10.32pm Big Brother has gathered all the Housemates in the Sitting Room for the results of this week’s eviction. Davina announces that Bea has been evicted. She leaves the house to a negative reception from the waiting public. David tells Housemates that he ‘thought it was me, guys’ and that even after the eviction is over, he ‘still feels like [he’s] being evicted’. He tells Lisa that he will definitely ‘need a drink tonight’. Sophie comments that there are only two women left and Marcus comments that one is a ‘lesbian and one is a pregnant bird’. Lisa says that although she liked Bea, she knew that it would be her going home tonight. 11.11pm It has been 39 minutes since Bea was evicted from the Big Brother House. Most of the Housemates are in the Living Room. Due to successfully completing the whistling challenge, Big Brother has provided alcohol for the Housemates. Upon discovery of the alcohol in the hatch, Housemates complain that it’s ‘not a lot of alcohol’, despite Big Brother’s promise of ‘lots of booze’. Lisa and David and Siavash are at the Bus Stop talking about Bea’s eviction. They are laughing but Lisa says that she is ‘not going to slag her off’. Back in the Living Room Siavash starts to talk about what they should do next week regarding nominations, as he thinks Big Brother might retract the right to talk about them after tonight. Charlie tells him he shouldn’t be talking about something like nominations so soon after Bea’s departure. ‘Give her 5 minutes’ he pleads. He then accuses Siavash of ‘keeping on pushing it’. 11.37pm Most of the Housemates are in the Living Room, talking about Bea. Sophie comments that she thinks Bea had ‘nice eyes’. Lisa agrees, saying that she was a ‘pretty girl’. Marcus, however, claims that she looked ‘kind of weird’ and had ‘long arms like a plant’ and could ‘look like a puppet’. Charlie tells him to ‘stop being horrible’. David is in the Diary Room. David tells Big Brother how happy he is to still be in the house and that it ‘feels absolutely amazing’. He thanks the public and Big Brother, saying that they have made him ‘happy, happy, happy!’ 12.02am Marcus and David are in the Bedroom. David is unpacking. In the Living Room Sophie says that she thinks Rodrigo is ‘a bit drunk’ and that he ‘gets feisty’ when he’s had a drink. She then asks Charlie if they kissed last night. He denies it, but both Sophie and Siavash claim to have heard kissing noises. Charlie retorts with ‘slag-bag there, she can’t talk’. 1.01am Some of the Housemates are at the Bus Stop. Sophie says she thinks it will be David and Marcus up for eviction next week. David comments that he thinks Siavash could also be up with them. Sophie says she hopes that he isn’t as she wants Siavash to stay. Rodrigo is in the Diary Room. He tells Big brother that he ‘enjoyed the day and the task’ and is happy that Marcus and David stayed in the house. He starts to cry and tells Big Brother that he is sad the show is finishing as he will never have this opportunity again. He says he hopes the Queen task has shown the public ‘how much [he] feels about the country’. 1.18am Rodrigo and Marcus are in the Bedroom. They are talking about the eviction. Rodrigo tells Marcus that ‘people wanted [him] to stay’ and this is why he was kept in and he should be happy about this. Marcus replies that ‘if it was fair [he] would be happy’ but that Big Brother ‘controls who goes’. He goes on to comment that he feels ‘everyone seems to be enjoying it more than [him]’ and that he ‘should be happy but [he’s] not’. 1.42am Sophie and Siavash are in the Living Room. Sophie says that she wants to be nominated next week. Siavash refuses. Some of the Housemates are in the Bedroom. Marcus asks Charlie what Sophie is talking about in the Living Room. Back in the Living Room, Sophie tells Siavash that she ‘feels like [she’s] hanging [herself]’ and ‘making a dick of [herself] on telly’. She continues to state that she is ‘public enemy number 1’ as all of Kris’s fans will hate her for what she has said about him and done. She says that she wants her mum and that she has made ‘the biggest mistake of [her] life’. Siavash tries to reassure her by telling her ‘you will be fine’ and ‘the less you talk the better’. He takes her through to the bedroom where he and Lisa encourage her to go to bed. |

BB actively leading Davo' on with a 'how does it feel to have the public support you' style question. Doubtless the tard' will think he is popular for years to come now. It is no different than Bea and her deluded belief that she never moans. Year of the deluded? Calrissian: watching the tumbleweeds... |
