SOUTH Cheshire’s own Sophie Reade completed the London Marathon yesterday in aid of The Children’s Trust.
The 20-year-old glamour model, from Nantwich, finished the gruelling 26.2-mile race in seven hours, 15 minutes and 51 seconds.
It was the first marathon that Sophie, who lives at Queen’s Drive, had attempted and she hopes to have raised thousands in aid of the charity, which provides care, education, therapy and rehabilitation to children with multiple disabilities, complex health needs and acquired brain injury.
