Big Brother - George Lamb

George Lamb has revealed that Big Brother bosses are `ripping up the rule book' to ensure that the Channel 4 reality series goes out with a bang.

The Big Brother's Little Brother host has said that there will be a number of changes to the format of both the spin-off and main shows this year.

Lamb will be joined on the spin-off show by former I'm A Celebrity presenter Emma Willis.

He told Channel 4 that the format change would see the elimination of the live studio audience and less emphasis on games.

He explained: "The same thing applies to the show as to Big Brother - it's going to be different this year.

"They're completely ripping up the rule book.

"We're not going to have a live audience, we're not going to have loads of games, it's going to go back a bit more to being a real behind-the-scenes look at the show."

He added: "It will be the first port of call for real opinions and real inside info, and for the up-to-the-minute reports on what's going on."

I am not a fan of George or Emma but I will be glad to see the end of the silly games and even sillier audience. The show has been going down hill for years, imo, and a new format is a bit late in day.

You would have to remove every single other program from broadcast and even them I would have to be tied kicking and screaming to my chair before I would watch the dross that is BBLB.

You Versus The Housemates!‏


Ever watched a Big Brother task and thought 'I can do better than THAT!?' Reckon you could beat the housemates and show them how it should be done?

Well you're in luck, as BBLB gives Big Brother lovers the chance to lay down the gauntlet to the housemates and set the bar for them to beat in a weekly task.

Viewers are invited to film themselves performing a task outlined by the mad cap task master himself Big Brother and upload it to the Official Big Brother YouTube channel, where a winner will be chosen and invited to record their attempt live on BBLB to set the standard for the housemates to beat that week.

The winner will be judged on how entertaining their submission is and how much enthusiasm they show for the task in question.

This week's challenge is to blow out a candle from the furthest distance possible… so load up your props, grab a recordable camera or phone and get shooting.

All entries must be submitted by Tuesday nights at midnight in order to qualify.
