Big Brother's Backwards Day!

At 09:42 after enjoying a bit of a boogie to Lady Ga-Ga this morning, housemates were let out of the Bedroom to find that Big Brother had run amok in the Kitchen.

Mario, on finding the mess, told other housemates that'the Kitchen it looks like ten people have eaten a curry, with cans of cider'. Ife speculates that maybe there are other housemates wihin their midst.

Not before long, the sleepy housemates start to twig what is going on after Big Brother makes a most unusual announcement:

"BROTHER BIG IS THIS"

Shabby was first to click what was going down; 'It's backwards day, everything is backwards'. Mario then realised that 'even the clock's going backwards!'

What other topsy turvy tasks will today hold in store?

Housemates Win Their Task!

Big Brother gathered housemates at the sofas and revealed that they had successfully won their task and as a prize would receive … you’ve guess it - curry, beer and wine for tonight.

But of course, they’ve already devoured their curry and guzzled down their booze for breakfast.

Confused? Earlier, housemates worked out that today was Backwards Day. Now that they’ve won their task, there can be only one thing in the pipeline, a task!

The Backwards Day Task
ImageHaving won their task, housemates headed to the task room to complete the task that they’ve already won and received their prize for.

In the task room housemates were faced with an already completed puzzle. Housemates then had to work out what they needed to undo what they have already apparently done. Agh!

The puzzle consisted of a building block key, a jigsaw which showed how to build the key, and a combination lock briefcase.

When the perplexed housemates entered the room they found the key built, the jigsaw completed, and the briefcase open.

What they don’t know is that later in the day they will have to re-do all the work which they have just undone!

If you're too confused by all this time-hopping, check in later when a member of our very own task team will try and make things a little clearer!

House Brother Big the in day backwards is Today.



This morning housemates were woken by some party tunes and were treated to a breakfast of curry and beer.

Earlier housemates were set a task. In the large task room housemates were faced with a building block key, a completed puzzle and an open briefcase. Housemates worked out that they needed to dismantle the key, break up the jigsaw and lock the combination lock briefcase. When they left the task room they were congratulated on finishing the task.

Housemates finished a breakfast of pastries, cereal and toast when Big Brother announced that all housemates should gather on the sofa and read aloud the rules for today's task.

Housemates were told that they needed to open the combination lock suitcase, make the jigsaw and build the building block key within two hours. Housemates must then bring the key to the Diary Room. If they build the key correctly within the time limit it will open a safe containing a voucher for a luxury shopping budget. If they do not pass the task they will live on an economy shopping budget for the next week.

Housemates Are Still Puzzled...

Housemates have been called into the task room to re-do all of the tasks that were already completed earlier today, confused? See here for more information.
After a bit of a struggle completing the jigsaw, housemates were triumphant and have successfully completed two of the tasks so far.

Stay tuned to see what happens next.

I have to say this years HMs are way better off than last years, without the live feed the producers did way less to entertain them and made sure by waking them uo early they went bed early to maximise sleep footage on what live feed they did have.

Oh wow.. wasnt that series one/two ... I had such a slow modem I could barely see the face of who ever was talking ... oh those where the days.

They have completed the task. They tried to bring the key into the DR but BB would not let them in and told them to gather on the sofa.
They are waiting for BB to get back to them.

Govan had a hard time getting the key into the key hole, he went into the DR to ask BB if he could remove some pieces they said yes.

He eventually got the key in
There was was a card in the safe with a message from BB telling them BB would speak to all the housemates on the sofa.

BB told the housemates they had won the task and a £500 luxury shopping budget.

The housemates were overjoyed - as you would be...
But then BB told them because Shabby and Govan had spoken in code yesterday about they would pick to replace them - code named pasta -and JJ, Shabby Caoimhe and talked about nominations in the garden.
BB takes back the £500 and put them on basic rations.

The announcement has had the desired effect and most of the housemates have not taken the news very well.

The chef was up and out of the sitting room -he was :-( at the thought of all those beans and sausages he would not be able to dish up.

Dave, he who has god pouring out of his belly, follows Nathan out to the garden and as he reaches the seat Nathan says to him "don't came out to bitch mate" :eek: ::lol:: ::lol::
