Post subject:  Mario's secret

Mario told his fellow housemates he would divulge a secret he is keeping if he was evicted on Friday night.
If he is being truthful and really has a secret what do you think it might be?

I think his secret is that he is Ben's agent.

I know he used to be the Milky Bar kid :chicken:

He I know has pished off one of his friends who he says now isnt talkung to him. I wonder if this is the same friend he said he had fallen in love with. Is that person straight and thus his attentions became unwanted and worse stalker like .. its not like we are seeing any of that type of behaviour in the house {@}

He did say that when he comes out of the house, he has nothing to come out to. Are his parents alive? Has he ever spoken about them?

Does anyone know what this secret is yet?

I know that he is an actor and a model (see http://www.starnow.co.uk/mariomugan) whereas this is not mentioned on his profile, which just says that he is unemployed. Is this his secret or is there more to it than that?

It was mentioned last night that his Mum was exiled to Tennessee I think it was, so I don't know if that is connected in any way?

I think Ben said last night in his interview with Davina that his mother was exiled to Switzerland so it could be Ben they were talking about Christine.

I'm pretty sure he's said he doesn't know his dad but his mum lives in America... I also recall something about one of his parents being welsh and the other Italian

His profile on that agency site does him no favours he looks like a real wierdo! ::lol::

Why weren't we shown Mario's message from home? Also, we seem to have missed the messages for Jo, JJ, Andrew, Rachel?

Yes, I am probably getting a bit muddled, but I definitely remember during the show, that Ben was doing a quiz and he asked 'Which Big Brother housemate has a connection with Tennessee?' and they answered 'Mario because of his Mum'.

I have been doing a bit of research about Mario. His profile says that he is half Italian, half British. I am pretty sure his Mother is Welsh, so his father must have been Italian.

He obviously has a lot of money or comes from a wealthy family because he wears expensive clothes and shoes and because he once bought the Diary Room chair for £6,600:-

Quote:
Mario Mugan, of Southend-on-Sea, Essex, is an avid Big Brother fan and was thrilled when he learnt that the diary room chair used in Celebrity Big Brother 5 was on sale at BuyOnceGiveTwice.co.uk.

“I am installing a bar in my house and the chair will be perfect for it,” says the 26-year-old dressmaking student. “I want to see my friends' reactions when they see it. I paid £6,600, which is much less than I expected - and it goes to a great cause.”

The sale benefited GetConnected, a charity that offers a helpline for young people who find themselves in difficulties. It has not been Mr Mugan's only purchase. “I also bought a bottle of whisky signed by Gordon Brown for £1,000 and tickets to a fashion show in London for £2,000. That includes travel by limousine from Southend, with champagne, so is great value. I like the concept. I get to buy unique things and help others.”

Case Study: Big brother fan sitting pretty

My thoughts are that he comes from a famous or wealthy family, so that could either be on his Italian father's side, or maybe his Mother has married someone famous or rich, hence her moving to USA. There is speculation that he is from the Prada family, but if he said he didn't know his Dad as Obo says, then I'm not sure if that would be right and would he benefit from his wealth if his parents have split up? I suppose his Father may send money for him? I think he has his Mother's surname, so maybe his Mother and Father were not married when he was born and didn't stay together? This is an old article in the Daily Star:-

Quote:
BIG Brother “mole’’ Mario Mugan has sparked a speculation frenzy in the house that he’s linked to the Mafia.

The popular wannabe, 28, who is half Italian and half English, is up for eviction tomorrow.

He has told the gang if he goes, he will spill the beans about “a big secret’’ he has been keeping.

At first the group thought the fashion designer, 28, was related to the Prada family because of his love of designer gear. Others speculated that he might be a prince.

However, the mystery deepened when the housemates started talking about Mario’s possible wealth. Ex-soldier Steve Gill, 40, said: “Your parents are rich ... so you’ll be all right when it’s time to pick up the will.”

Mysterious Mario then alluded to the fact that he might have murderous Mafia links. He said: “Yes, I’ll be all right.

“But I need to arrange a few assassinations ... oops, I mean accidents.”

Then he went into a long monologue about how he loved Sicily, where the Mafia was founded.

A Channel 4 spokeswoman said: “If Mario has a big secret it’s not something we know about.”

BIG BROTHER 11: MARIO 'MOLE' MUNGAN HINTS AT MAFIA LINKS

Could he be a millionaire maybe?

One article to which I have lost the link says that he taught at Southend College about repping.

He's obviously had a good education.

He acts a bit spoilt and as though he likes to get attention and is maybe used to getting it?

Here is another article:-

Quote:
Ife and Govan have been questioning Mario about his secret, which he earlier promised to reveal upon his eviction.

The trio strayed onto the subject after Ife confessed to the 28-year-old former mole that she initially had trouble getting to know him because she felt he was holding something back.

Mario clarified that his parents were not actors and that it was Josie who had spread that rumour.

"Oh my god, Ben’s your boyfriend," shouted Govan. Mario quickly denied this and Ife repeated her feeling that the secret involved his parents and claimed she had an idea of what it could be.

The two continued to guess until Ife asked if Mario's parents were fashion designers. Govan specifically ventured that he might be the son of Miuccia Prada.

"This makes so much sense now," beamed Ife, referring to her confusion as to why Mario didn't speak more about being an amateur fashion designer himself. "You said you don’t need to live off your parents, you want to do it yourself."

Mario refused to confirm or deny their speculation, convincing Govan and Ife that they were right about Mario beinga a member of the Prada family.

When Mario left the bathroom, Ife informed Govan that Mario's reserved character had made her feel uncomfortable in the past.

"I said that something was up with Mario, I didn’t know what it was but I knew it was something to do with his other life.

"Going out of his way to tell us he's poor but going on about his rich expensive lives… I knew something was up."

Ife's certainty was later undone though, after Shabby revealed that Mario said she in particular would "spin out" when he revealed his secret, even though she has no interest in fashion.

Ife, Govan 'guess' Mario's secret

I don't think he is the son of Miuccia Prada, because I thought his Mother is supposed to be Welsh. So he said that his parents were not actors. However on The Prada Family website, I think the one in red bears a slight resemblance to him.

Actually, I was thinking that Mugan was his Mothers maiden name, but I suppose it could be her new married name, so I suppose there is a chance that she could be Italian and not his Father. Oh I am getting myself all muddled now. ${

I definitely think it is to do with his parents. Anybody got any ideas?

Whoa christine I wouldn't wanna get on the wrong side of you... That's some digging you've done ::lol::

Mario has said an ex bought him the diary room chair because they knew how much he loves BB although that could be a lie as the above article doesn't mention an ex....

I doubt he has a "secret" he's a seasoned BB fan and knows when someone says something like that the forums are full of speculation, he knows how to play the viewers because he was one for so long!

Dunno if it's been mentioned on here yet, but he's been in the BB house before when that Justin Lee Collins/Alan Carr show did a BB special, he was one of the HMs in it with them.

The secret is out. He's been on BB before.

Check out the Friday Night Project from two years ago. They did a Launch Night Special, and there he is, six minutes in, as a housemate in a sketch with Justin Lee Collins and Alan Carr. You can't watch it on fast forward, unfortunately, which is probably the best way of watching Channel Four these days. I mean, look at it now, or rather don't: Gok Wan, Davina, JLC and AC, George Lamb, and Jimmy Carr.

He still whines a lot, secret or no secret. Granted he worked hard to become a fully fledged housemate but finalist? I smell something fishy here and it's not my fish finger sandwich (with chili sauce). :-?
