I was happy some of the blow up last night was show, but a lot was left out. Like when Ben told Ife and Mario about the hot water being cut off, he asked them both if he should tell the others it was because of him, immediately Ife said yes, Mario said no yo don't say anything, Ife said "okay, don't say anything, Oh I don't know maybe you should say it was you...." Sunshine and JJ's part was more or less glossed over, so I don't know if the people who only watch the Highlight show will see the other side of Ben.

Had to laugh when the housemates were told about the basic rations, Nathan letting Dave know he didn't want to hear any bitching, Dave was on and off the horse in seconds and back in the house - showing that was exactly why Dave had followed Nathan out to the garden.  And then the lovely Corin, she tells the housemates not to worry everything will be okay, she then stands on the sofa and starts singing - Always look on the bright side of life - the others were so pissed off they didn't they didn't notice her song and dance routine

Straight talking Nate - telling Dave 'I hope you haven't come out here for a bitch (session that is) cos i'm not in the mood'. Oh the irony of Ben asking why JJ mixes with 'those people', as all they do is drip poison in his ear. This coming from the man who soon after Rachel left was whispering in JJ's ear...'the sore has been removed but the sore that's left is under the skin and harder to remove'. It's getting like an episode of 'Allo Allo' in there with all this code speak!

finally getting to post! damn, bb and worldcup in the same summer is HARD  Ben is an idiot but come on...Shabby and that lot, including JJ, are just as bad. for JJ to turn the whole situation about Ben nominating Sunshine is completely ridiculous and irrelevant. he's odd like that. most people nominated her in the first week (not that JJ knows that), it has f all to do with anything. perhaps JJ is worried about Ben nominating him? why is no one having a go at Shabby for blabbing relentlessly about nominations in the first place?...probably because she'd kick off, whereas Ben is silly, maybe even arrogant enough to sit there, listen to people go at him and defend himself. he is an easy target. there are two groups and they both talk trash all the time about eachother, pretending to be all holier-than-thou about it and i LOVE IT. this is why it's good Shabby is staying and i hope Ben stays too. Dave and Govan are both expendable. also, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD SOMEONE UNTIE THAT HOODIE CORD JJ KEEPS TYING AROUND HIS NECK!!! IT LOOKS CRAP AND DRIVES ME INSANE. |

Hi roo  It goes without saying all housemates gossip and say how they are perceiving the situation in the house. To Sunshine and JJ it was not so much that Ben had nominated Sunshine, it was the shock at Ben's betrayal. They were under the illusion that they were in Ben's inner circle - and to be fair Ben has admitted they had a point. Even Ben's best friend in the house Dave said he was shocked, though I think he was saying that to add to the discomfort Ben was feeling. The housemates have told Shabby off, the other day she had a ding -dong with Steve over idle chit-chat that was getting the whole house punished. Ben, as Mario has said just keeps talking himself into trouble, Mario has said he is tired setting scenarios up for Ben to redeem himself only to see Ben undo his good work. Ben makes himself a target, no one in the house has set out to do that, he does it all himself. I think Ben's paranoia is getting him into trouble, Shabby on the other hand is not paranoid she goes straight to the person she feels is being unfair or duplicitous, I wish more of the housemates were as forthright and not hiding behind a charm offensive. |

She's so ingenuous to the point of doing herself over, that's what I like about her - she doesn't seem to know she's saying/doing something to get her/others in the caca Ben is such a duplicitious shitbag, but he causes so much hilarious drama it would be a shame if he were booted on Friday. What I find so comical about him is his cowardice - he says/does unpleasant or schemey things and then tries to talk his way out of it and makes it all the worse Nathan telling Dave he wasn't interested in bitching and Dave flying back into the house like someone had set a fire up his arse This is SUCH a good series so far. |
