Day 19 in the Big Brother House Coming up tonight – It’s England vs Germany (with a difference), crisp wars come to a head and it’s the Baron’s Big Brother birthday… Housemates awake to more crisp-gate annoyance, with Josie and Nathan particularly annoyed about Sunshine withholding the crispy snacks. Is Sunshine in the right? Steve collects a laminate from the Diary Room. It explains that English and German Big Brother houses are to compete in a penalty shoot out via a live link up! The team that wins will watch the England vs Germany Game which takes place on the Sunday. The housemates chosen to take the penalties are Nathan, Corin, Mario, John James and Dave. As housemates wait for the big match, crisp-gate continues. Shabby tries to explain to Sunshine that the argument is about the principle of sharing, rather than the fact everyone actually wants to eat the crisps. Nathan is particularly vocal. Who would have thought a bag of crisps could cause all this stress? Luckily, Big Brother comes to the rescue in the form of a packed lunch, with crisps for one and all! The housemates prepare for the game. Don’t they look lovely in their England kits? Patriotic Caoimhe opts for green to represent Ireland. Housemates begin a very tense penalty shoot out against the German Big Brother house. One of our favourite moments of the series so far! We won’t spoil it for you, but catch our highlights here! The housemates gather in the Living Room for this week’s You vs The Housemates challenge. One of them must try and stuff more pies in their flies than our lucky viewer, Elma. Dave is chosen to take part. The housemates watch Elma’s attempt before Dave completes the challenge. Find out how YOU could feature in the next You vs The Housemates challenge here. Dave manages to beat Elma and the housemates rejoice. They are awarded an extra large apple pie for their desert. The housemates celebrate Dave’s 41st birthday at the stroke of midnight. Crisp-gate. Sunshine tries her best to hang on to her crisps, silly really when there are so many housemates hungry she is only making it easy for them to be annoyed with her. |

Sunshine has caused a lot of resentment over a packet of crisps. Nathan was right about sharing out the food, and JJ is staying closer and closer to Ben.

I don't see why sunshine should share her crisps with anyone other than her friends... She shared her pizzas why should she give her crisps too, as if a handful of crisps is gonna solve the hunger issue anyway... I literally cannot stand caoimhe, shabby and Nathan the three of them showed their true colours, how jealous and pathetic! Let's see how they get when the tobacco gets low! Ife actually spoke tonight...

Amazing what hunger can bring out in people, I think Sunshine didn't want to share with them but was put under pressure to do so because they made it so obvious she didn't want to. I don't think Caoimhe, Shabby or Nathan are jealous of Sunshine they just cant stand her - just like Ben's group really but they are not licking her arse for her vote, worst fools them. Ife is really nice, as nice as Corin and Josie. She gives out her own opinion and is a true floater, just like Corin and Nathan. |

I agree Maddy - Dave had a problem with Rachel showing her knicks but Mario doing a streak doesn't seem to bother him. JJ appears to be spending less time with S/shine and more with Josie since the crisps incident. I think that was Josie's plan all along. I thought Steve did a good job of the Henry V speech - I just finished listening to the audiobook of Agincout by Bernard Cornwell the other day funnily enough. Caoimhe acting like she wasn't aware of how the rest of the hms see her and Shabby's relationship.IMO |

I think the interesting note was that Shabby is clever enough to know that the noms are comming up monday and maybe smoothing over issues with Dave and Sunshine will save her. Ive got to respect her for that where as Irish bird and Ife are totaly missunderstanding Shabby her intentions and her ruthlessness. Dave Im liking more and more. Josie lost huge points with me as she too while honking on about how she dosent need food blah blah was one of the first to confront Sunshine for daring to have food given to her by Bb an not instantly let her have sone. |

Sunshine did herself no favours, though. What I would have done, had it been me, would've been to dole out the crisps on the night I got them as otherwise, it looks like you're trying to control other people by making them ask you for them. Especially at a time when the whole house is existing on rice and chickpeas and hunger is making people snappy and short-tempered. Not a good move by Sunshine there. Caiomhe I am going off more and more with every HLs show. She just reminds me of every up-themselves bitchy nasty girl I have ever met in my life. I wouldn't trust her as far as I could comfortably spit her. But I suspect she's going nowhere for the time being, sadly, and this week's noms will see Sunshine up again. |

This weeks nominations will be interesting. I hope Dave is up and I cant wait to see if JJ stands by his moral code and nominates Ben for his treachery. Ife had a word with Caiomhe the other day and advised her not to be caught up in other HMs arguments, she said someting along the lines of, if you are going to be judged let it be for who you are, not for who you are close to in the house. She is a wise old bird, Ife. Poor Sunshine is under the illusion JJ fancies her - more like he fancies Ben.

I agree bunny, the ideal way to have dealt with it would be for sunshine to open the crisps during the meal and dumped them in a bowl on the table, on the other hand they were hers and why should she.... As one of them annoying vegetarian people nothing irks me more than going out for a meal with a group of meat eating mates and ordering a ton of food (this is usually only in a chinese or indian) for them and me having one dish to myself and some greedy sod has to help themselves to a load of mine... I wouldn't mind but they've got 10 or 12 dishes to choose from and I've got my one.... It's not about not wanting to share, it's about the fact that I can't eat the rest of it so why should I give up half of the only thing I can eat.... I don't see why she had crisps unless it was just cos the others had loads of choice and she didn't I actually quite like Dave although he is getting preachy sometimes. Shabby is proper sneaky going and apologising for overreacting, that's the game and I think the others will pick up on that Caiomhe just irritates the he'll out of me, especially after last night, she looked like she was gonna go nuts all over a handful of crisps, I think she needs to tell Shabby she isn't interested but she obviously likes the attention she's getting, I've been in that situation before (not a girl but a lad I was really great mates with) and the only way to sort it if you aren't interested is to break away from them |
