Wheels in Motion

Later today, housemates will be taking part in a game of wheelchair basketball. They will spend time being coached by the House's wheelchair basketball coach, Steve. He will be designing a training regime by which he will assess housemates' ability.

He will then pick two teams of three to go up against each other, while their fellow housemates take on the role of cheerleaders! They must prepare and perform a routine - looking forward to seeing that!

The game will be played in two halves of 10 minutes. The winning team, Steve and a cheerleader of their choice will win a special prize tonight....

Housemates On a Roll

Housemates are really enjoying today's wheelchair task. Steve has them hard at work in the Garden for their training. He's thrilled with the task, describing it as 'phenomenal' and saying 'I can't believe what's happening'. He was even more excited when he discovered his very own wheelchair in the Garden!

Shabby thinks it's a great thing that they are required to stay in their wheelchairs all day so they can understand what it's like and has promised Steve to "do you proud".

Steve seems pleased with everyone's progress so far. He's taking no prisoners though, stating 'I'm in charge' more than once. He's working them hard in the Garden - even saying they're not allowed to smoke! Housemates are obeying his orders.

John James hasn't been doing too well - he's fallen out of his chair twice. No, make that three times now. Oh, wait... that's number 4! He just keeps falling! Josie's doing well (when she remembers who's on her team) and Nathan's looking like a pro!

It's almost time to pick his teams. Let's hope that doesn't end in tears!

Wheelchair Basketball Task!
