SHOPPING TASK: MAN Vs MACHINE

This Morning the house awoke to find that the robots have risen up and taken over the Big Brother House.

Unsuspecting Housemates yesterday laughed when they found a huge robot hidden in the bathroom… but they aren't laughing any more.

Overnight Titan the robot broke free. This morning after being tipped from their beds Titan announced to the housemates that the house is now under the control of his boss Big Brobot.

Big Brobot has just gathered Housemates to the sofas to declare war.

For this weeks shopping task the human housemates must try to take back control of the house. To do this they will have to take on the robots in a series of epic Man V Machine battles over the next two days.

Shortly the ChaserBot-3000 will enter the house. This is another of Big Bro Bots Robot minions - at various points throughout the task the Chaserbot 3000 will enter the garden through a hatch. Any Housemates he touches will become a robot and join forces with Big Brobot.

Later housemates will get the chance to take on Titan in a series of Man V Machine tasks.

Housemates need to win these challenges as the task will rest on the final battle at the end of the second day, where human Housemates remaining will take on 'Bigger Brother' in the final showdown. The more human Housemates that are remaining the more chance the Housemates have of winning.

If all housemates are turned into a robot they will fail the shopping task.

This Morning the house awoke to find that the robots have risen up and taken over the Big Brother House.

For this weeks shopping task the human housemates must try to take back control of the house. To do this they will have to take on the robots in a series of epic Man V Machine battles over the next two days.

Just after 12.30pm today housemates were informed of their first challenge - the battle of the carpet cleaners.

Josie was selected to take part in the task and was called to the Robo Room. Here, she was confronted with Titan and his vacuum cleaner and was provided with a dust pan and brush. To pass the task Josie must clean her square of carpet quicker than her machine nemesis.

To the sound of 'Break Free' by Queen the battle commenced. At the end of the task Machine took victory with Big Brobot declaring. "Housemates, your attempts are pathetic. You cannot win."

For failing the task Josie is now deemed a robot and must where a special robot costume for the remainder of the task.

SHOPPING TASK: MAN Vs MACHINE. CORIN BECOMES A ROBOT

This Morning the house awoke to find that the robots have risen up and taken over the Big Brother House as part of this week's shopping task.

At approximately, 1.50pm today ChaserBot-3000 entered the Garden to give chase to the human housemates. Housemates who were outside were locked out of the Big Brother house as ChaserBot-3000 attempted to run into them. Any housemate who was touched by Big Bro Bot's minion would then be turned into a robot.

As Corin failed to out run ChaserBot-3000 and was touched on the leg she must now join Josie as a robot.

SMOOTHY BATTLE

This Morning the house awoke to find that the robots have risen up and taken over the Big Brother House.

For this weeks shopping task the human housemates must try to take back control of the house. To do this they will have to take on the robots in a series of epic Man V Machine battles over the next two days.

At 15.22 Big Brotbot informed housemates that their second challenge would start soon - the epic battle of the smoothie makers.

Caoimhe was selected to take part in the task, although John James disputed this and suggested that Nathan take the challenge as "he is good with food" however, housemates agreed Caoimhe should do it and she was called to the Robo Room.

Caoimhe was tasked with making a delicious fruit smoothie using a bowl and a masher. Titan would also take on the challenge using a blender. The winner is the first to make the fruit into a pulp and poor liquid smoothie into a glass in a true test of man V machine.

Whilst Caoimhe hurried to pulp the fruit Titan failed to pick up grapes with his fingers. Titan tried to sabotage Caoimhe by squirting water at her and could be heard chanting 'Negative' in a familiar Geordie tone.

Finally after Titan dropped the blender trying to poor his smoothie in the glass Big Brobot was forced to declare Caoimhe the winner. She won her freedom and was free to return to the house.

SHOPPING TASK: MAN Vs MACHINE. CUTTING EDGE HAIR DRESSING

This Morning the house awoke to find that the robots have risen up and taken over the Big Brother House.

For this weeks shopping task the human housemates must try to take back control; of the house. To do this they will have to take on the robots in a series of epic Man V Machine battles over the next two days.

For the next part of today's task one housemate had to take on Titan in a cutting edge battle of hair dressing.

Titan was armed with a Speed Groomer Mark Three whilst chosen housemate Ben was left with a pair of plain old hairdressing scissors.

On the sound of the claxon Ben and Titan attempted to cut off all the hair from their muse's - a fellow robot for Titan and good sport Dave for Ben.

Throughout the task Titan tried to put Ben off by reciting past conversations housemates have had in the house. But Ben continued hacking at Dave's hair who encouraged, "Give me the full monk's look…it'll grow back".

At the sound of the second claxon the task was over and Big Bro Bot announced the results, "Man is victorious", making the human housemate the winner of this cutting edge challenge.

Man VS Machine - Whisk Challenge

Steve has just taken on Titan in a marathon egg whisking session and won!

He whisked his way to victory after Titan knocked his own bowl over. Steve managed to escape becoming a robot and repeatedly laughed at Titan whilst shouting, 'I'm big daddy!'

He sure is as he managed to beat the almighty Titan... Ch4 - video with this link

SHOPPING TASK: MAN Vs MACHINE. THE FINAL SHOWDOWN.

Over the previous two days robots have risen up and taken over the Big Brother House. For this week's shopping task housemates have been trying to take back control by taking on the robots in a series of epic Man V Machine battles.

So far, Ben, Josie, Nathan, Steve and Coaimhe have battled with the robots - with Josie and Nathan failing to beat their metal nemesis. This means that for the duration of the task Josie and Nathan have been robots. Corin and Ife were also caught out by the Chaser-Bot 3000 in the Garden which means they have also joined the dark side.

Yesterday evening was the time for human housemates to take part in one final battle. Human housemates were given their very own mobile fighting machines which they customised in preparation for a combat to overcome Bigger Brother.

Human housemates entered the arena of devastation and had three minutes to defeat their rival android. Housemates had to survive in the arena for three minutes, if just one of them survived by the end (i.e. not flipped out, not destroyed or not in the 'Pit of Oblivion') then the housemates would win the shopping task.

Bigger Brother annihilated all six of the housemate's bots meaning that they have failed this weeks shopping task and will be left with an economy shopping budget.

For this week's You Vs the Housemates task one Housemate competed against the winning viewer in a battle to see who could 'stick' more tablespoons to their face, and keep them on their face for 10 seconds.
Andrew was chosen as the BB11 Housemate to take part in this challenge.
Andrew stuck four spoons to his face for 10 seconds, but the competing viewer, Luke, held five spoons, making Luke the winner.
For winning the challenge Luke has won an engraved gold souvenir spoon.
