- ANDREW’S TREE OF TEMPTATION TASK
- RACHEL Vs BEN
09.56 am
Ben and Mario are in the Bathroom. Ben greets Laura in the bathroom and hugs her. They flirt and say they both look like they slept well.
In the garden, Dave greets Jo: “morning, cougs”. Andrew starts dancing in the garden and jokingly raises his shirt. Josie comments “oh my god, you have got a nice body” and says “I’m feeling your swagger Andrew.”
In the bathroom, Mario says to Ben “you dropped Rachel like a hot stone” but Ben says she actually dropped him. Mario then comments to Ben “you climb from one person to another” and claims that everyone in the house has noticed, including Rachel who is annoyed that Ben used to spend time with her, and now he spends it with new housemate Laura. Ben says “I’m chatting to Laura because she’s a new person to chat to” and that he likes talking to her because she’s interesting. Ben claims that he can’t really have a conversation with Rachel. Ben says Mario is implying he’s false, which Ben doesn’t agree with, but Mario says “you don’t have to explain anything to me”.
11.23 am
In the garden, Corin asks Laura if she’s going to be a “tryer” in tasks. Laura says she is, but insists “I’d rather lose [a save and replace task] than put someone up”. JJ replies and states “if I had to do the task, I’d do my hardest”, admitting that he wants to win everything
In the bedroom, Rachel talks to Josie about Ben, stating she was very gullible about Ben and admits to feeling jealous of Laura. Rachel says that “Ben’s full of ****, and I’m attracted to people who are full of ****”. Josie replies by stating if Ben knew how Rachel felt he wouldn’t have acted like that. Josie then asks Rachel how she feels about JJ, and Rachel says he’s too young and insists she wants to stay single. Josie empathises with Rachel, but states, in regards to John James, “I want to be single, but I can’t help the way I feel about the little blighter”. Rachel says that normally she has excellent instincts about when men are jerks but says “I think Ben’s accent threw me”. Josie says she thinks Ben’s a bit of a womanizer, but Rachel replies that originally she thought he was gay and says, “I can’t believe how far off I was”.
12.12 pm
Dave, Andrew, and Ben are in the nest Ben asks Andrew if the newcomers have made him feel any more at home, to which Andrew replies “I feel a bit more unsettled”. They talk about JJ, and Dave says that even though they might have things to talk about, none of them will ever get too close to him.
In the kitchen, Josie and Rachel say that the two of them could go on a double date with John James and JJ. Josie says not the kind where you put your keys in a fruit bowl. Rachel says like the kind where the girls go to the bathroom together.
In the bathroom, Andrew is spoken to by the Tree of Temptation who gives him a secret task – “Geek boy, how would you like to be Jack Bower from 24?” Challenged to impersonate the 24 character Jack Bower for 24 minutes, Andrew is given an earpiece through which the Tree will tell him a list of instructions to do and say – such as “dammit” and “sons of bitches”.
Andrew’s first mission is to get Ben’s sunglasses, and do a military roll out of the bathroom. Andrew comes out through the garden where Steve asks why he was rolling around. Andrew says it was for exercise. Andrew goes to the nest and waits for Ben to finish talking. Through the earpiece, the Tree commands that Andrew interrupt Ben and “call him a son-of-a-bitch”. Andrew does this and starts yelling at Ben. Ben says this is out of character for Andrew and Dave starts laughing.
In the garden, the housemates can hear Andrew yelling. Steve says it must be for a task.
The Tree gives Andrew a second mission – to accuse Dave of using his toothbrush. Dave says he did not use his toothbrush, Andrew says he can smell his breath on it. John James comes into the hut, and the Tree tells Andrew to get his hat. Andrew grabs John James’s hat off his head and walks straight into he kitchen.
The Tree then tells Andrew to grab the salt and “poison” someone’s drink, which Andrew does to someone’s bottle in the bedroom. Finally the Tree tells Andrew to “evacuate the house and to lie about a fake twist” in the bedroom. Andrew yells madly at everyone in the garden “If you want to live, get in the bedroom” and the other housemates laugh at him – “the Milky Bar Kid’s turned” says Ben. As they slowly make their way into the bedroom Andrew does another military roll on the carpet.
In the Bedroom, Andrew makes all the Housemates get on to the ground and put their hands on their heads.. He says there is another House, and that there are five new housemates coming to replace five of the current housemates. Corin reacts “shut the hell up”. Andrew says he’s deciding who goes and asks for five volunteers. Many housemates volunteer, but Ben does not. The Tree then tells Andrew to “abort mission” and come back to the bathroom. Andrew returns the earpiece and says “that felt amazing”.
Andrew returns to the bedroom and says “sorry about that guys. I had a bit of a power trip. I just had to let that all out”. When other housemates ask about the 5 new housemates Andrew tells them not to worry about it.
5.04 pm
In the bathroom, Ben asks Dave if he’s angry at him. Dave says he’s shocked Ben didn’t stand up and volunteer when they were all in the Bedroom. Dave brings up Rachel and asks Ben if he ever said that Rachel’s closer to Dave than him, but that Ben wanted to change it. Ben denies having said that, and tells Dave to bring Rachel in and ask her
Rachel comes into the bathroom and reminds Ben when he said “I know Dave is your favourite but I’m going to change that”. Ben says it was a joke. Ben says he’s just being flirty, and Rachel accuses Ben of leading girls on, stating that “he’ll say anything to get into a girl’s knickers.” Rachel says she doesn’t like guys who are all over one girl one minute, and then move on to someone else. Rachel calls it fake affection. Rachel says if Ben was really upset she would go and find him, but she was upset all day yesterday and Ben didn’t come and see her because he was too busy being “Mr. Tickle”. Ben says he didn’t know Rachel was upset.
5.22 pm
In the nest, Ben and Dave talk about Rachel. Ben says what he said was a joke and wonders why everyone takes everything so seriously when it’s only “tongue-in-cheek”. Dave said he was chatting Rachel up. Ben admits that he was being a bit flirty and says “I do slightly fancy her”. Dave says Ben has been spending more time with Laura than even him, stating “you were tapping Rachel up, and then Laura comes in and you’re all over her like a cheap suit. That’s why Rachel feels upset”. Ben says he didn’t know Rachel was upset, and that they do have chemistry but that she gets into moods. Ben hates that he’s being branded as “Mr, Sleeze” and that he doesn’t understand what he’s done. “God it’s been a crap day”, he says.
6.09 pm
Corin and Josie are in the living room talking about JJ. Corin asks Josie who she thinks is better looking, John James or JJ. Josie says in her eyes, it’s John James.
In the Kitchen, Andrew asks Rachel if she liked him as Jack Bauer. Rachel says she likes bad boys who can take control. Rachel asks Andrew if he had an earpiece and Andrew says it wasn’t a task; “sometimes I can just flip. I have an alter ego called Jack. Sometimes he comes out.” Rachel asks Andrew questions about his condition, and Andrew plays along. Rachel says that must be why Andrew’s so intelligent because he’s got two minds. After their conversation Rachel thanks Andrew for telling her about it, and says she feels “privileged”.
6.39 pm
Andrew is called to the Diary Room where he sees strawberries and champagne. Andrew is given a smoking jacket and told to tuck in. Big Brother asks Andrew “would you like some female company?” Andrew replies “always” after which three girls in bikinis come in and feed Andrew strawberries while Sadé and Marvin Gay play in the background.
In the Living Room, Jo and Ben talk about relationships. Jo asks Ben “are you a player?” She says she can’t see Ben being a boyfriend and Ben admits that he wouldn’t make a very good one. Ben says he likes variation.
In the Diary Room, the girls leave. Andrew says “no, don’t go”. Big Brother tells Andrew he is not permitted to tell the other Housemates what he has been up to.
In the living room, Ben says he may not get married and might just be a “lonely eccentric”. Andrew leaves the Diary Room with a lipstick kiss on his face. Steve asks why he’s got lipstick on his face. Andrew says “no reason”.
7.37 pm
In the garden, Andrew asks Ben “do you trust me?” Ben replies that he thinks he can, so Andrew tells Ben to do 10 star jumps on the spot. Ben agrees, but doesn’t know what star jumps are. Andrew teaches Ben to do star jumps and he does them.
In the living room, John James and JJ talk. John James admits he had massive trust issues at the beginning, because all of his friends on the outside are friends for life, and he wouldn’t hang out with the majority of the people in the house. John James says he can relate to JJ, and comments that he feels like he’s known him for years.
10.06 pm
All the girls are at the smoking area. Rachel says they needed the two new girls to come in.
Meanwhile, the boys are in the kitchen cleaning up after dinner.
In the garden, the girls notice how funny it is that they’re all out there and the boys are doing the cooking and cleaning. Jo jokes that they “all have a husband” each; Laura wants Ben and Rachel jokes that she has divorced him. Corin says she wants JJ. Jo doesn’t like who’s left, saying all the other girls have Mercedes but she has a beat up old car. The girls then realise they forgot about Andrew, but say he’s too young to be included. The girls toast, “here’s to the ladies.”
In the living room, Ben says “this reminds me of when you go to a restaurant and there’s a hen party nearby and you want them all to die.” The male housemates all laugh.
12.03 am
Dave and Ben are in the nest discussing tomorrow’s nominations. Dave says he does not know what to do about nominations. Ben says to go for whoever he has the least connection with. Dave says his closest friends are Ben, Rachel, John James, Andrew and Corin, and that leaves only Josie and Steve but Dave says “I can’t nominate Josie and the Baron.” Dave then realises he shouldn’t have said that.
In the bedroom, Corin says she can’t speak to people she fancies and says about JJ “I don’t fancy him, I just find him attractive”. Josie and John James tease her about JJ so Corin calls JJ over and jokes that “these two are trying to make out that I fancy you”. John James laughs and objects to being dragged into this. Corin tells JJ she just had to get it off her chest so she wouldn’t be embarrassed. Josie jokes about them having a double date. JJ walks off and Josie and Corin laugh. JJ says he’s going back to the boys.
1.32 am
John James and JJ are in the living room talking about Corin. John James says that Corin is a bit shy, and JJ says he’s surprised that she fancies him and did not expect it after being in the house for only two days. John James says he has to be “massively flattered” that a girl as fit as Corin has said she fancies him. JJ says he doesn’t know how to react. Josie comes in and tells JJ not to be embarrassed. JJ reiterates that he didn’t expect this. Corin comes through the living room and says goodnight to everybody.
In the bedroom, Josie and Corin whisper to each other. They agree they should have a double date. Corin worries she’s got nothing to wear but Josie points out that she has 6 drawers of clothes. Corin says she doesn’t know what JJ would like.

Ben never stops spinning against Mario, I am not a fan of either of them but in Mario's defense I think he is right about Ben. Ben is a user and Mario continually pointing this out to him and us is the reason Ben is spinning against him.
