Kenneth Tong, a housemate on the 2009 Channel 4 reality TV show, caused outrage when he said he was “proudly endorsing managed anorexia. Nothing tastes as good as thin feels” on the social networking site Twitter.But R&B star Rihanna branded the 25-year-old “ignorant” for posting more than 100 messages in a week encouraging women to become a size zero.
Eating disorder charity Beat said yesterday many anorexia victims had complained to them about his messages.
In one post, Tong wrote: “No point in debating this, all you females could stand to lose some weight, this is fact – please think twice before your next bite.”
