BATTLE OF THE BRAINS

Who are the brainiest housemates of them all? Today all housemates will be going head to head in a ‘Battle of the Brains’ and its Boys VS. Girls. The winning group will have the unique opportunity to choose the shopping for the entire House this week.

How it Works:
The battle will be begin with a race of speed and intelligence! Both teams will be faced with three maths sums. The only part missing is the answers; which they will have to work out.

Inside the ‘Fish Paste Barrels’ are all of the digits that make up the answers to the three sums. The first team to work out the sums, find the answers then put them up on the board, will be crowned as the ‘Brainy Housemates’ at today’s Graduation Ceremony. The losing team will be branded as ‘Pea Brains’ and will feel the repercussions of this embarrassing title later today.

Please Note: As a vegan Heaven can choose whether or not she decides to enter the Fish Paste Barrels which contain fish ingredients.

At the graduation ceremony the Brainy Housemates will be rewarded with a graduation gown. They will be instructed to collect a great big brain taken from the ‘Brain Chamber’. Brains in the chamber formerly belonged to intelligent greats such as Albert Einstein, Leonardo Da Vinci, Winston Churchill, Marie Curie, William Shakespeare, Ludwig van Beethoven and Joan of Arc. The losing team will need to collect their Pea Brains from the Pea Brain table and put it on their heads. Housemates must wear their headpieces at all times.

Brainy Housemates and Pea Brains will then make their way back into the house for a great brain food lunch high in omega 3; sushi for the winners and sardines and bread for the losing team.

For the final end game the Brainy Housemates will be put to the test as they will be playing for the shopping budget in a Q & A intelligence test. Pea Brains will feel the consequences when the Brainy Housemates intelligence fails them. The Brainy Housemates will be asked a question – for each question answered correctly housemates will receive £50 towards their shopping budget.

However, if the Brainy Housemate answers incorrectly, the Brainy Housemate must make their way over to the ‘Wheel of Misfortune,’ spin the wheel and pour the BRAIN SICK over the selected Pea Brains Housemate’s head. Also by answering incorrectly the housemate will not receive £50 towards the shopping budget.

Brainy Housemates will be competing to win anything from £0 - £700 towards the shopping budget.

TASK RESOLVE: BATTLE OF THE BRAINS, IQ

Yesterday afternoon, housemates went head to head in a Boys VS Girls ‘Battle of the Brains.’

The Boys won the maths challenge and therefore were crowned as the ‘Brainy Housemates’ and were awarded with a great big brain at the graduation ceremony. As the losing team, the Girls were branded as ‘Pea Brains’ and were given Pea Brains at the ceremony.

Brainy Housemates were then put to the test in a Q & A intelligence test. For each correct answer, housemates received £50 towards their shopping budget. If a Brainy Housemate answered incorrectly housemates did not receive £50 towards the shopping budget and were required to spin the ‘Wheel of Misfortune’ to decide which Pea Brains Housemate would be covered in Brain Sick.

‘ BATTLE OF THE BRAINS IQ: SHOPPING LIST’

Yesterday the boys were crowned the Brainy Housemates and won £350 for this week’s shopping list.

They also won the unique opportunity to choose the shopping for the entire house away from the girls and were given a male luxury shopping list which they were also able to choose items from.

Items from the shopping list included weights, a table football set, mini foam swimming pool, cosy one-piece suits, remote controlled toy cars and tokens for takeaway chicken, burgers or pizza.

From the male luxury items, the boys chose to buy High Protein shakes, protein bars and two beach balls. Aaron, who delivered the shopping list to Big Brother, was tempted to change the group’s order at the last minute, but his conscience through in the end.
