Aden keeps his distance from Rebeckah
Faye and Tom’s night time spat!
9:03am
For the past 24 hours housemates have been taking part in this week’s Yes or No shopping task, where housemates simply have to answer ‘yes’ to Big Brother’s propositions. Housemates Mark, Maisy, Alex, Anton, Jay, Aaron & Louise all said yes. Housemate Harry said no. Tom has been called into the diary room for his part in the task and has answered yes to Big Brother’s offer of a haircut. “Don’t give me a bad one,” Tom pleads. An awaiting barber drapes a gown over Tom and gets to work.
9:26am
As punishment for breaking the rules, the house has been without hot water for three days. Faye is shrieking while having a cold shower. Alex is in the kitchen trying to work out if the kettle has boiled. She holds her hand in the steam as Aaron warns: “You’ll scold your hands.” Alex reassures him that she will be fine and has “heat sensitive hands.” “Heat proof or heat sensitive?” queries Aaron. In the diary room Big Brother makes small talk and asks Tom if he has a holiday planned. “Don’t give me that banter, I hate it,” Tom scolds. At the end of the trim, Big Brother asks Tom if he would like “short, back and sides.” Tom answers no. In the living area, housemates notice that the No sigh has been activated. Tom leaves the diary room while commenting: “You know my weak spot and you plan to attack it. Who do you think I am, Danny Dyer!”
10:53am
Alex has had a cold shower and her fake tan has gone streaky. Maisy is helping to remove the worst of it.
Big Brother has called Faye into the diary room for her part in the task and asks her if she would like a tattoo. Faye says yes and asks: “Is it a permanent one.” Big Brother reveals that a tattoo artist is waiting in the small task room but what Faye doesn’t know is that the tattooist has been instructed not to actually tattoo her for real but to put a stamp on her arm if she agrees to go through with it. Faye enters the task room and asks how big the tattoo will be and the tattooist puts an actual size transfer on her shoulder. “That’s massive,” Faye comments and tells Big Brother that she has changed her mind. In the living area, housemates are alerted to Faye’s u-turn as the No sign is illuminated. “Oh ****” Rebeckah remarks. Faye returns to the living area and tells housemates that she said no due to the size and location of the tattoo. Aden tells housemates that he would have said yes.
1:06pm
Alex and Tom are dancing under the stairs. Rebeckah has joined some of the male housemates in the bathroom. The conversation turns to her relationship with Aden. Rebeckah says that other housemates “swap beds all the time,” so why is the spotlight on her and Aden. “If you stay, will you be more standoffish with him?” asks Harry (?) Rebeckah doesn’t give him a direct answer but tells housemates that she had told Aden that she fancied Mark. “I bet that went down well,” quips Mark. Rebeckah tells them that she will leave them to talk and goes into the living area. Aaron tells the boys that Aden is a “horny young man,” who is “properly smitten.” He says that Rebeckah has “alienated” herself from other housemates.” Mark tells them that he “feels sorry” for Rebeckah: “No one wants to spend one on one time with her.” “I think it’s ruined her Big Brother experience.”
Aden and Rebeckah are lying on the sofa. Aden leans in and tries to kiss her: “Stop kissing my face!” she shouts.
1:53pm
Some of the housemates are in the kitchen. Alex reveals her lack of house keeping experience and tells housemates that yesterday was the first time she had ever changed a bed. Jay is shocked and asks: “How long have you slept in a dirty bed?” “Seven months.” Alex replies as housemates grimace. She tells them that she used Febreze spray to keep the sheets smelling fresh.
Aden has been called to the diary room where he accepts his task. Big Brother informs him that he must not talk to, or be too near to Rebeckah. If Aden gets too close to Rebeckah Big Brother will loop the sound bite of Rebeckah saying: “Stop kissing my face!” into the house. Aden looks regretful and is informed that he must not tell housemates or Rebeckah the details of his task. Aden returns to the living area and after a short while Anton guesses: “Basically, he’s not allowed to speak to Rebeckah.” Rebeckah laughs and shouts: “Aden, do you still love me?” “Aden, do you want me to take my knickers off?” Aden stays away from her smirking. Rebeckah shouts while giggling: “This is your one and only chance, you’ll never have this offer again!”
2:55pm
Rebeckah and Harry are in the kitchen. “It’s amazing how close people are after a week” he comments.
Heaven is called to the diary room. Big Brother offers her the chance to do a bungee jump “160 feet above the Big Brother garden.” Heaven screams: “Yesssssssss.” A short time later, housemates are assembled in the garden to watch Heaven’s jump. Housemates applaud as Heaven makes the jump. When Heaven is lowered back into the garden Tom jokes “Oh, she’s peed herself, bless her.” Housemates all have a group hug.
5:25pm
All of the housemates are in the living room. Aden has been avoiding Rebeckah for 3 hours and 29 minutes. Aaron is giving Rebeckah a foot massage. Harry notices Aden in the kitchen and quietly jokes to Rebeckah: “It’s killing someone to not talk to you. It’s hilarious.” Aden is clearly unhappy and comments to Anton: “There’s no need to do it in front of my face, it’s taking the piss!” They go into the garden and sit in the smoking area. Aden continues: “Treating me like a d**khead, Aaron knows it as well.” Aden tells him that he should not be upset: “I’m not meant to say anything, she’s not my girl.” Aden tells him how nice Maisy is and decides to turn his attention away from Rebeckah: “I could make those 11 days up in two days,” he comments. He decides that he will “get close,” to Maisy.
6:06pm
Maisy is called to the diary room as part of the yes task and Big Brother asks her if she would like to receive a shock in her suit. Maisy says ‘**** you but yes’and begins to laugh and squirm around.
A short while later housemates are gathered on the sofa to be asked another question by Big Brother. They have 30 seconds to decide if they would like to watch this week’s housemate nominations on the big screen. After a short deliberation, housemates decide that for the house to remain harmonious they will have to say no. Big Brother instructs the housemates to open the task safe. Inside the safe is the number of times Big Brother was prepared to hear the word ‘no’ during the task. So far, housemates have said no four times and if they have exceeded the number inside the safe they will have failed the task and will receive a basic shopping budget. Anton opens the safe and reveals that housemates have passed the task and will therefore receive a luxury shopping budget. Housemates cheer.
10:33pm
Tom, Heaven and Rebeckah are putting the poles under the stairs to good use. Rebeckah twirls around the pole seductively and Heaven follows suit. Aden is in the garden and gets straight to the point with Maisy. “You’ve got a little spot there,” he comments. Faye scolds: “You don’t say that to a lady!” he hugs Maisy from behind and she pulls away saying: “What are you doing, you’re just rude!” Aden tells her that his comment was a joke but Maisy tells him that he is “out of order” and begins to cry. Anton accompanies her into the house and Maisy tells him: “He’s just so f**king rude.” Aden is left alone and Rebeckah comes out to join him giggling: “What did you do?” Aden explains and tells her that Maisy “took it to heart.” Rebeckah tells him that she thinks Maisy fancies him. Aden tells her that he is going to bed and Rebeckah tells him that she will tell Maisy to “sort it out.”
11:49pm
Jay and Harry are outside the diary room and have switched roles. They are dressed in each others clothes and pretend to be each other. Jay has adopted a posh accent and while Harry comments: “Aye man, disco, proper good.” Aden and Maisy are talking in the garden. He apologises for upsetting her earlier. Maisy tells him that she was mainly upset “because it was in front of other people.” She tells him that she felt “self-conscious” in the house surrounded by “pretty girls.” Aden tells her that she is “stunning” and explains that he misses his family and “personal space.” He begins to get upset and says: “I’m 19, and I’m listening to other people’s problems, I say one thing and it’s taken out of context.” Maisy hugs him. He tells her that he is upset that “my best friend in the house may go this week and yeah, I fancy her a bit, f**k it.” He confesses that some housemates have told him to keep his distance but he doesn’t want to. Maisy comforts him and tells him that he is strong and to let it out. They continue to hug.
00:14am
Some of the housemates are messing around in the bedroom while Aden is talking to Rebeckah on her bed. “I love you to pieces,” he tells her. “I love you too,” Rebeckah replies then adds “not proper love,” as they have not known each other long enough. Aden tells her that she is stunning, sweet and caring and “I don’t care about your past, it’s the present (sic) I look forward too.” Rebeckah tells him he has a “heart of gold” and to win Big Brother for her. Aden is crying. Rebeckah reminds Aden that they are playing a game: “Some people are better than me” at playing she quips. Aden leaves her and she calls after him.
Still in the bedroom the other mood of the other housemates has changed and Tom calls Faye a “dickhead” for putting her belongings on his bed. She yells at him not to call her that and they begin to argue. Jay tries to calm the situation and tells housemates: “If people can’t handle their drink they won’t get no more, they should just go to bed.” Aden tries to get them to calm down but Tom and Faye keep arguing. Heaven and Faye go to the diary room and Faye explains what happened and says they were having a laugh before Tom got upset and “singled me out.” Heaven tells Big Brother that Faye is a bit upset about it - Faye is obviously upset.
Tom and Alex are in the bathroom talking about what happened. Tom explains that he his comment in the bedroom wasn’t aimed at Faye. Tom says that he feels “left out” in the house and they hug.
00:54am
It has been 40 minutes since Faye and Tom’s argument. Faye is in the bedroom talking it through with Heaven and Rebeckah. Rebeckah tells her not to give anyone the satisfaction of being upset and Faye says that she doesn’t understand what happened. Rebeckah tries to lighten the mood and jokes “All I’m saying is, don’t ever sit on her bed!” referring to her spat with Heaven a few days earlier. Heaven takes offence and tells her to stop it. Rebeckah says it was funny and that people are laughing. Rebeckah announces: “I’m going leave this negative situation” and lies down with Aden.
Aden and Rebeckah are laughing on her bed and Rebeckah comments: “There’s a lot of negative energy.” Heaven comes over and tells Rebeckah not to bring up that stuff. Rebeckah says that she doesn’t care and was only trying to lighten the mood. She says she is a trained counsellor and says it is not good to be all serious and intense all the time.
02:42am
Housemates are all in bed. Aden leaves Rebeckah’s bed and returns to his own. Rebeckah and Aden say goodnight then Aden calls, “Love you!” across the room to her. A minute later Anton then sits up in bed and says: “Is this is a joke?” He questions Aden: “What was that. Did you just say ‘love you?’” and begins to laugh. Rebeckah jokes to Aden “I’m going to leave you with that,” “Cheers mate!” Anton retorts. Anton says he had a “cringey” feeling “I was gonna stay quiet but couldn’t let that go.” Aden tells him to shut up or “I’ll s**t in your bed.” Most of the housemates tease Aden about the comment saying “Night everyone, love you.” Aden swears at them and feigns upset. Anton ends by saying that Aden’s comment was the end to a mad day, “nut house.”
