A short while ago, today’s task commenced - a test of concentration and the ability to remain focused without submitting to Big Brother’s sneaky distractions around them…

Housemates have been called individually to the diary room where they must sit behind a clear perspex screen which has two paralleled squiggling lines drawn onto it, and two dots. The aim of the game is for each person to draw a continuous line from the red dot to the blue dot, whilst keeping it in between the two lines. If a housemate goes outside of the lines or takes the pen off the sheet they will incur a 10 second penalty for each time they do this. Simple eh? Well that is until Big Brother steps in…

After 10 seconds, someone will step into the Diary room with each housemate and cause a little scene around them in attempt to cause a ‘distraction’. Visitors are as follows:

Alex: a handsome butler serving from a chocolate fountain.
Harry: a sexy French maid, cleaning the diary room.
Jem: a disco dancing diva gyrating to a funky track.
Tom: a fireman stripper.
Faye: a clown blowing, releasing and popping balloons.
Jay: a sexy waitress serving his favourite trifle.
Aaron: a little boy armed with silly string.
Louise: a topless fat man doing armpit farts.

The housemate who is the least distracted and draws the longest continuous line in the shortest time, will win a very special reward later today…

But who will keep themselves in line, and who will find themselves unable to connect the dots… keep it here for the results.

Day 45: Task results revealed!

Earlier today, the housemates were set the task of drawing a continuous line in the shortest time possible, without allowing themselves to be distracted.

The results were as follows:

1st - Jem finished drawing her line in 30 seconds. This includes a 10 second penalty which was added for drawing outside of the line.

2nd - Faye finished drawing her line in 31 seconds. This includes a 10 second penalty which was added for drawing outside of the line.

3rd - Aaron finished drawing his line in 36 seconds.

4th - Jay finished drawing his line in 42 seconds.

5th - Harry finished drawing his line in 44 seconds. This includes a 10 second penalty which was added for drawing outside of the line.

6th - Louise finished drawing her line in 45 seconds.

7th- Tom finished drawing his line in 46 seconds. This includes two 10 second penalties which were added for drawing outside of the line.

8th - Alex finished drawing her line in 1 min 8 seconds.

As Jem finished drawing her line in the quickest time, she will be rewarded with a session with a beautician for her and another housemate of her choice. The session will take place this evening!

As a booby prize, Alex will be asked to finish making all of the unmade beds in the House.

Day 45: The sisters unwind

As a reward for passing today’s task, Jem was treated to a rejuvenating pamper session including a facial, manicure and pedicure. She chose sister Faye to join her in the luxurious reward, where they had the chance to unwind and have a natter on the goings on in the House.

High on the agenda was yesterday’s VT reveals, which the housemates watched as part of the reward for Alex winning the rowing task. Referring to her own tape, Faye told her sister how she was embarrassed by how she had come across, saying “Mine’s so cringey, I said I’m sexy and hot and a p***k tease. I was like that’s not me, what you doing Faye?” She then went on to mock beau Aaron’s tape, relaying his message “Aaron said I’m a contract manager by day, ladies man by night”. He’s certainly lived up to his ladies man persona in the House…

Faye then went on to reflect about how the public may be perceiving the housemates, saying, “Weird how we have our own opinions, but public could think totally different. We think there’s a favourite but might not necessarily be.” It seems the impending final isn’t far from the housemates minds.

However, with Jem and Faye both threatening to leave the House earlier in the week, the reward seemed to have lifted their spirits as the pair emerged from the task room looking relaxed and refreshed.
