The time has come. The funeral rites of Big Brother have been lavishly extended - as befits a once-great, much-loved TV phenomenon - but tonight we wave goodbye to the house, the baying crowds, the needy housemates, the lot. Since Josie won the 11th series two weeks ago, a gathering of former housemates have been competing for one final prize (though Josie herself left after two days via the fire exit). Tonight, the always frantic Davina McCall - expect tears - reveals what has happened in the final 24 hours. The obsequies continue with Dermot O'Leary airing backstage gossip (Dermot's Last Supper), a miscellany of BB highlights (Davina's Big Send Off) and, after 11pm, the crowning of a Champion of Champions. Understated to the last.
