Mentioned this in the other thread, but thought it was worthy of one of its own. If they wanted to sign off with a BB 'catchphrase' I'd have thought 'This is Big Brother. You have been evicted. Please leave the Big Brother house' would have been more apt for the situation, unless they know something we don't. :kitty:

Davina also said "I won't say goodbye, I'll say night night" but I don't think we can read too much into that since that's what she's always said and even if BB did come back, I doubt she'd be involved (not that she's got anything better to do though!)

Hmm...honestly, I'd love it to come back next year, but if it does, they got to either revert back to BB1 style (unlikely in these times!), or kinda go more 'real world' style.

Imagine, a house of cameras, but they have access to the net, and are able to do more out door stuff.

Cal': would be in a house like that!

"This is channel 4, big brother you have been evicted" would've been great

It's probably just to keep us guessing I hope it does come back and love or hate her Davina has to do it, I personally don't see why people dislike her so much I like her clumsy style of interviewing its what has defined BB since day 1 ... Well since Sada's eviction anyway!!

I'd say that although she's perfectly entitled to have her favourites, like any other viewer, a tad more professionalism in not making it so obvious would be nice. The standard rule of thumb for being a Davina fave seems to be 'act like a complete idiot which would get you a slap in the outside world' or 'have a showmance' or 'be an attractive guy even if you have the personality of a stuffed iguana'. Any female who is clearly better looking or more intelligent (that's a stretch...) than her seems to be regarded as the antichrist.

That's my take on her anyway :puppy:

Let Brian Dowling host it I say ;)

Do you think Channel 5 could afford your services? {@}

Davina has already said she would not move to another channel to present BB.
If Ch5 do take it up I hope they have the sense to do their version BB USA style then the UK BB.

I think BB will be getting back to us here in the UK - some day soon.

Big Brother - presented by... Stuart Hall! It's a cock-up, C5 style?

I'll do it for a packet of crisps, a mars bar and a tin of special brew, if they throw in a pot noodle I'll do BBLB and BBBM too....

Oh no Maddy not the USA style.. and HM John has just boiled a kettle for a cup of tea. followed by an hour of HMs in the DR explaining how Johns boiling a cup of tea affected their lives ... and dont get me started on the droning voice women that interviews them when the come out ::lol::

I know you get the boring parts but overall the US production is much better then any of the other BB's in my opinion Stinky.

okay so I'm a bit late with my goodbyes  :-(

anyway I'd just like to say that it's been fun guys, I've truly enjoyed reading all your posts (even if I didn't always agree with what was said). I used to lurk on the site around BB2 days, but never plucked up the courage to post until the end of BB3 (by far my favourite series - sorry Bunny)

my proudest moment would be my off-top-of-my-head recollection of Fight Night, which by pure chance I happened to catch live as it happened (sometimes insomnia has its uses)

we've had our good times and we've had our bad times, but through it all I think we've been a pretty decent bunch. I never felt like there was a time when I couldn't face visiting the site, which isn't always the case on other BB forums (I think we know which one)

if I were to compile a list on my favourite HMs it was go thus:

BB1 - Mel, Anna, Nick (for his lies)
BB2 - Amma, Brian
BB3 - everyone bar Sandy and Tim
BB4 - Fed, Ray
BB5 - Victor
BB6 - Science
BB7 - Aisleyne

then I kinda lost interest. I carried on posting here because I genuinely like you guys and wanted to still interact.

who knows what the future holds for BB, I for one think a move to C5 would be a disaster. I don't think Mr Desmond has the money to back BB to even half its current state, let alone the amount Endermol would be after for a 2/3 year run. If the series has truly ended then I'll miss it, but it had a decent run.

till we meet again

 darkhawk76 There was talk of there being a Celeb version in January, so we may meet sooner than you think!

I've enjoyed reading your posts and thank you for doing the viewing figures for the last series.

I agree with you that BB3 was good. I also enjoyed BB2 a lot (sad that I am, I was gripped by the Helen and Paul love story and didn't get much sleep that year, as I kept staying up late to watch them! .)
