Here's a link to Charlie's unique Big Brother official magazine: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Unique-Big-Brother-Official-Magazine-/200523301840?pt=UK_DVD_Film_TV_TV_Memorabilia_LE&hash=item2eb01ec3d0 Am probably in the wrong section with this, but I thought more folk would likely see it. ![]() |

I don't have an eBay account but look what I also found: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Big-Brother-Diary-Room-EYE-DOORBELL-/300470626860?pt=UK_DVD_Film_TV_TV_Memorabilia_LE&hash=item45f571ea2c It was £300 yesterday and I see it's up to £460 now. I quite fancy it I must admit. |

I quite like the idea of one of those as well. I'm wondering how easy / difficult it might be to sequence the LEDs to create the effect ? I'm thinking that there must be details out there to use a PIC processor to do the work. Plus some where I must still have the circuit for the Maplin sequencer I used for K9. The cosmetic parts look interesting. I'm going to download the video and look closely at the sequence ,should be an interesting exercise if nothing else. I have a programmer for PIC processors and hundreds of LEDs so got to be worth a try. |

Well I'm giving it a try. Just bought 100 5MM Blue LEDs. Looks like there is a total of 8 sequences starting with the outer Red LEDs on and the center 5 Blue LEDs on. And ending after it has been pressed with just the center 5 LEDs on. Are the center LEDs Blue or Green ? In the YouTube video there appears to be 33 Blue LEDs plus the outer Red LEDs. I've taken a picture on my phone of the Super-Sized picture off eBay which clearly shows the layout of the LEDs. From the sequences you only need 7 ports to control the LEDs plus 1 to detect when the button is pressed. This can be done as the Maplin project I've used controls 10 channels. Time for a bit more research. Once the sequence is running then the other parts can be looked into. An ideal project to the nights closing in. |

£460 and reserve not yet met? Wonder what the minimum price will be for that item? It's a 47 LED model, I note that Davina's one only has 27, wonder if she will notice it's not quite the same? |
