Big Brother auditions arrive in Cardiff

Fame-hungry wannabes descended on the Millennium Stadium today for the chance to follow in the footsteps of rugby ace Gareth Thomas and become the latest inmates of reality show Big Brother.

Colourful characters from across Wales auditioned, including an Ammanford art student, a Cardiff cross-dresser and a Flintshire ex-cage fighter – promising to make the new series the most outrageous yet.

The Russell Brand lookalike showed up to auditions at the weekend and met former Celebrity Big brother star Kerry Katona, who was also at the tryouts.
