I believe you have double standards yes. Because the only real difference between those two statements is that you like the speaker of the first and dislike the speaker of the second.

I'm glad Caroline went, as I can't stand her. As for the whole of Ireland being behind Conor - well, I agree with GG that that is definitely not the case. I hardly know anyone who still watches BB over here either, and I have been following the FB page of our local radio station in Derry to see what people have been saying about Conor. The majority seem to be mortified by him, though there are a few twits who say we should vote for "one of our own".

I think it is dreadful to blank anyone, no matter what the circumstances. It's like at the end of the Apprentice - I lose respect for those who walk past the sacked candidate without saying goodbye. I would actually have preferred them to tell her that she deserved to go rather than just sit there and blank her!!

In my mind, they both could have been trying to influence nominations with those sentences. When Luke A said the first one to Adam, I think he was trying to suggest Ash and Luke S for nominations, because Adam replied, something like 'Ooh I don't know - Becky .......', so I think it was coded nomination talk.
