BIG BROTHER TASK: 'LAST LAUGH'


For today’s Diary Room task, all Housemates will compete to see who can maintain a laugh for the longest amount of time. Big Brother will give them a helping hand by providing some visual “jokes” for them to LOL at.

One at a time, each Housemate will be called to the Diary Room. In the Diary Room, they will each be instructed to lift a drape to reveal one of Big Brother’s jokes. They must laugh at it, no matter how unfunny it is, and must then keep on laughing for as long as they possibly can. Big Brother will time each laugh, and the Housemate who carries on laughing the longest will win the task.

Big Brother’s jokes, however, are all a bit lame, clichéd and a bit too literal. The jokes provided for Housemates to laugh at will include a chicken crossing a road, a mushroom holding a sign which says “I’m a Fun Guy” and a gurning man.

In yesterday’s task Big Brother shared the following gags with housemates. In order from first to last here is who laughed for the following amounts of time:


1. Disguised man – SAM (25 min 57 sec)

2. Englishman, Irishman & Scotsman – WOLFY (9 min 36 sec)

3. Worm in a can – GINA (6 min 36 sec)

4. Knock Knock – JACKIE (3 min 48 sec)

5. Jack in the Box – JOE (3 min 29 sec)

6. “Fun Guy” mushroom – DEXTER (2 min 27 sec)

7. Fart button – CALLUM (2min 24 sec)

8. Lolcat picture – CHARLIE (1 min 34 sec)

9. Gurning man – HAZEL (1 min 21 sec)

10. Jumping dog – JACK (1min 15 sec)

11. Cream pie in the face – SOPHIE (51 sec)

Therefore the winner was SAM who decided to share his reward with Callum and Daley.

For winning the task, Sam was invited into Big Brother’s secret lounge for an evening of pizza and beer, to enjoy with two housemates of his choice. The trio were also shown the highlights of the three as-yet unseen housemates’ audition tapes (Jackie, Gina and Wolfy’s).
