DAILY UPDATE: DAY 17
Key highlights from tonight’s show:
* Housemate awake following last night’s revealing task with shock revelations and Jemima’s eviction.
* The ‘secret tape crew’ of Gina, Jackie and Wolfy hold a secret conference while. Other housemates are dubious of the trio’s sudden closeness
* Housemates take part in a battle of the sexes task, Command and Demand. Callum, Daley and Dexter go head to head with Gina, Hazel and Sophie as the remaining housemates cheer for their respective team
* Jackie’s leading questions causes Callum to make a shock revelation about the lengths he went through to become a Big Brother housemate – that he lied to Big Brother to appear more interesting.
* The boys receive their Girl’s Night In prize for winning the task and enjoy sweets, beauty treatments and fancy dips complete with sing-a-long anthems. The girls look sad as they watch from the garden.
* The audition tapes become the talk of the house. Jackie tells some of the housemate that she, Gina and Wolfy had planned to reveal all to the group in a subtle way.
* Sophie relays to Dan what she heard about Hazel’s intention to ‘stir things up’ from her audition footage and makes him promise to keep it to himself.
* Gina feels let down by Wolfy for not backing her up over the contents of Hazel’s audition tape
* Dexter finds a tennis ball in the garden with a message taped to it, ‘Dan is an actor’ but fails to reveal all to his fellow housemates.
Key quotes from tonight’s show
1. Some of the housemate are in the kitchen tidying up. Dexter explains what it feels like to be up for eviction.
Dexter “When you go into the diary room, the stuff they say to you it actually becomes very real and very scary.
Callum “I can’t image yet but I’m sure we’ll all go through it.”
Dexter “It’s like two bricks smacking you over the side of the head. For me it was the realisation of am I really that much of a ****.”
Charlie “And the answer was?”
2. Gina, Jackie and Wolfy are in the tree house. They discuss what to do about seeing other housemates audition videos.
Gina “How about we just ask them bits of the questions be it separately, (lets) see what they say and if they tell us all different answers, then we say it in front of everyone.”
Jackie “We can do it in our own subtle way, I’ll probably say to Callum about the thing he said on tape about a mother and daughter, to me, no decent man would do that.”
Wolfy “Even if it wasn’t true, you just wouldn’t say that.”
Jackie “What else did he say?”
Wolfy “Deceptively intelligent.”
Jackie “If anyone is deceptively intelligent, they wouldn’t say they’re deceptively intelligent.”
3. Charlie and Hazel are alone in the bedroom doing their make up.
Hazel “Its funny when you get to this stage and you find that people are starting to irritate you. Things that you used to tolerate and laugh at your now, ‘will you just go away.’”
Charlie “It’s the first day I’ve noticed that I’m getting irritates with certain people.”
Hazel “You can only be polite for so long.”
4. Callum and Wolfy are relaxing in the tree house; she tells him that she watched the audition videos of some of the housemates.
Wolfy “I saw Dexter’s audition tape which revealed that he is a massive game player. He portrayed himself as a millionaire playboy, in his own words, if he wants a blonde he’ll have a blond, if he wants sex he’s got a girl for that, if he wants conversation he has a different girl for that. In my opinion of him has gone (points to floor).
Callum “But my audition tape was bolshie, I was like yeah look at me, ladies man. It was just to get in the house.
Wolfy “I tell you who else I saw, that I get on with but has (now) made me question, Hazel. I love her to pieces, I thought she was very genuine but I saw that tape and I thought, wow, you are a player, massive game player.
5. Jackie is sitting on the bed with Gina and Callum while other housemates are in earshot.
Jackie “Charlie met a rapper once who said he dated both a mother and daughter, I said, that’s it, dump him.
Gina “Of course, I bet she wasn’t too impressed.”
Jackie “I know, no decent guy would do that.”
Callum “I mentioned that on my audition video, I made it up, I won’t take about the audition process but sex, positions… I’m here though, otherwise, I may not have been interesting enough to be a housemate.”
Charlie “Basically you lied your way in, fair play to you. Did anyone else lie to get in here?”
Sam “I was the first person to walk on the moon.”
6. During the party, Callum mentions that he thought housemates would all admit to bending the truth in their auditions and was surprise by the shock reactions he received.
Joe “Don’t you think Jackie, Wolfy and Gina asked a lot of questions?
Jack “I reckon they saw all of our VTs.”
Callum “Do you reckon that’s why she dropped in the mother and daughter thing, because she saw it in my VT?
Joe “I think that was it, they were asking you questions that didn’t need to be asked.”
7. Jackie reveals all to the housemates. Gina and Wolfy are in the bedroom. Dexter enters the bedroom and brags that he knows that they had watched the audition tapes.
Gina “18 girls in a month, that’s disgusting, I share cutlery with you, I share a toilet with you. You were very cocky and I thought is that Dexter, the one that cried when he got rescued the other day?”
Dexter “This house changes you Gina, you know the real me Gina, I’m not getting into this now.”
8. Gina, Wolfy and Charlie have been asked by their fellow housemates to reveal all. Gina
paraphrases some of what she heard. Hazel is blasé and disputes some of the
revelations.
Hazel “I never said stirring s**t, I don’t use that term.
Gina “I don’t like this, I just hope no-one gets offended by it.”
Hazel “Well if you actually told the truth it would be a little easier.”
Gina “It is the truth, I don’t know why anyone else isn’t saying it.”
Wolfy “I ain’t gonna lie Hazel, you did seem a lot different in your audition video which made me think, maybe she’s hiding something. Genuinely, I think you are a nice person but you did say stir the pot.”
Daley (Sat with Hazel speaking quietly) “Who gives a s**t, don’t let it bother you because you become like them.”
Hazel “Gina being Gina has decided to reveal the truth and be so honest and ‘oh my God’ with everybody and thrown a few truths at everybody. It’s quite entertaining; I think people are in a position where they feel they need to defend themselves but at the end of the day, I don’t think people need to justify anything to any people in this house. I’m not overly offended by it, I just think Gina’s a bit of a pretentious brat, her opinions don’t really matter to me.
9. Dexter is watering the vegetable patch and notices a tennis ball in the garden with ‘Dan is
an actor’ written on it. In fear of getting in trouble, Dexter indirectly tells Gina and Wolfy
about the ball but they fail to get the fist of what he means.
Dexter “I’m not gonna take the risk cos I don’t’ wanna end up in jail.”
Gina “What do I look out for, lip read, lip read, lip read. Whereabouts, what do I look out for.”
Dexter “You’ll know when you find it.”
Sophie “I don’t’ think you should say things like that and then not follow through.”
Dexter “I don’t want it to change anything for anybody, everybody just go inside and I’ll point it out to Big Brother.”
Big Brother “This is Big Brother, will all housemates return to the house immediately.”
10. Some of the housemates are settling down after a chaotic night. Dexter, Gina and Wolfy
are in the kitchen, still talking about the tennis ball.
Dexter “I just thought you lot would have found it or not found it, that would have been the entertaining part. But, because it happened to me, I thought, I’m not gonna read it, I’m not gonna pick it up but if anyone wants to, it’s gonna be entertaining for everyone.
Wolfy “I know that you read it cos nature has never steered me wrong before, you can take the p**s out of me, I talk to flies, so what. But you know what, you like to be in that position of power, it gives you a cheap thrill, that is my genuine feeling about it. You like to be in that position of power, it gave you that position of power and you won’t disclose that information until you feel the time is right.”

BB has empowered HMs with the power of minipulating the nominations. Gina is gunning for Hazel, Sophie droped a nitch bomb about it to Dan in the kitchen. Jacki is making sure Callum never sullies her daughters loins and Dailey is rolling with it and now agro`d against callum like some kind of lower bottom school class bully.
